Yes the Optimus V is a real smart phone and Virgin does have a decent data plan, BUT and this is a very important BUT there network sucks! Major problem with droped calls, no "bars" even standing next to a cell tower and there internet service is always breaking down

TheOptimus does not have enough memory to store many apps and its NOT set up to store app on sd

@NoobyRC Yes and the virgin phones are really expensive as well. It all depends on what you expect your phone to do for you. The Trac and Net10 phones do what a phone should do. They allow you to speak to another person on the phone cheaply. If you want to play games buy and xbox. If you want to watch a movie by a big screen tv. If you want someone to read a letter aka text use the post office. If you want to listen to music buy a 100+ watt sound system.

I have this phone I have had no problems with it so far. never had a dropped call. touch screen takes a little getting used to though.

I have this phone and it sucks big time!!!!! I bought it for $50 at walmart and it's not worth that. The only thing thats worth anything is the 2.0 megapixel camera. The touchscreen is not good either. It is a resistive touch screen which means it only responds to one press at a time and if that works i would be inpressed. Usesualy i have to smashes my finger into the screen to get it to work!!!!! 0.0 out of 10.0 if you ask me!!!!
