  • 0:20 i have never seen better handwriting or drawing from a grown man

  • WRONG

  • Good info Tex thanx.

  • hey asshole do you got any fucking ide what yor talking about.

you aint making any sense here and you dont know shit about sites.

  • Hey, Mr. ToobSteak, I don't see your video on how it's done, especially since you think this lad isn't doing it right. At least he's up here trying, so why don't you cut him a break and quit with the nasty comments.

Besides, I don't see too much wrong with what he's saying.

There's a place for people like you, and this ain't it.

  • @mistertoobsteak He may not know anything about sites but he seems to know something about sights

  • One thing about those two sight pictures is that the one on the left is usually best suited for target shooting, where the one on the right might be better in actual "real life" shooting situations because there generally is no "six o'clock" hold position as in the Top Post method. It's not an accident that the one on the right is a natural way to shoot in real life situations. It's just natural.

  • You're fat like me.

  • great info tex 5*s

  • great points tex.

  • As a former Hostage Rescue instructor, I prefer the C of M method due to the fact that bullets tend to fly high during a REAL fire fight. During rapid fire, the muzzle climbs up and to the right due to bullet torque and muzzle blast. By sighting in for C of M, you reduce overshoot by as much as what would be for Top Post. The result is a higher probability of hits during stress and rapid fire. It's the laws of statistics learned by those who died using previous methods.

  • that was helpful...i think my guns have all been toppost

  • the infamis heater in the background in the end! also agree with everything he said in this video. i had to do it myself when i was in basic. my rifle at 300 meters shot high so i aimed at the base of the target and ended up hitting it i think around center mass. up close it was dead acurate

  • Top Post is also called Six o'clock.

  • tex how do u adjust a ak left to right ?

  • To raze the group move the front sight post down, to drop the group move the front sight post up.

Push the front sight right to move the group left, push the front sight Left to move the group Right. use a tapco sight key.

  • Good info. Sights are tricky business.

  • Great video Tex.

  • ★★★★★

  • top post is what i sight in as on all my long guns Also top posting lets you be able to see your target as short range

  • see I use a mix. as in sight in for top bost but shoot center of mass setting the heart ontop of the post.

  • Great info bro thanx for that !!!!! I used fixed sights but now I'm accurate cause I've shot this alot !!!!!

  • Great stuff Tex.
