  • Everything you said in the video is 100% true.. I did the same thing, but here's the thing, doing it with a sledge hammer isn't as fun as doing it with your hands and feet. I enjoyed destroying the box, then I called them, sat on the phone for two hours and they sent me a replacement box

  • If you couldn't figure out that all you had to do was press the reset button then you are the idiot

  • thanks

  • Vonage sucks big time.

  • Fuck vonage I should make a video like thiz

  • @davidsawyervlog That is pretty crappy. Same deal with the Vonage gig almost. It was a technical support position but in all actuality you had to do everything. Was a major pain when they closed the LNP department and implemented a crappy ticketing system with db's on the other end who didn't care either. "Engineers". Pfft! Anyhow, VoIP really is great tech but there are too many environmental factors that can make it suck. Primarily under trained co-workers and ISPs LoL

  • @davidsawyervlog Very true. I used to work for them. It was pretty horrible. Stupid policies, stupid co-workers, stupid customers. I hope to god I never have to work in a call center again. Most businesses have no integrity or honor. And so far as call centers go, they can send all of those jobs overseas. It is hardly a notch above prostitution. I could go on for pages about this crap but I am sure it wouldn't be anything you didn't already know.

  • U are so fucking stupid . U are fucking big douch bag ,cock sucker , fucking gringo , u hit like gay

  • Vonage is no longer cheap, if you compare it to viatalk, lingo(if you call international) and magicjack plus

  • I quit Vonage because the call quality was horrible. I called their Tech Support and the call kept breaking up and we had to constantly repeat ourselves. So the Tech obviously heard what the problem was. Finally the call got disconnected. They didn't fix the problem or even call me back despite the fact that their support heard first hand how bad the quality was.

  • Vonage overcharged me every bill for a phone service that didnt even work.

They sent me three different routers and none worked.

    Charged me for them all.

It took me four weeks just to cancel it.

  • Rebate Recovery Fee....*flush*

  • hehehe. is it just me or did that 118$ router just destroy your 2$ sledge hammer?

I bet the router still works.

  • I agree!!!

  • Dude the only tool here is YOU! I think you need to go to anger management classes our somthing. You are a TOTAL DOUCH BAG!

  • i need to give you a bat and 1:10 E for ECHO!

  • I hate VONAGE!!! These bastards do not offer a refund if you prepaid for a years service. I was told another story prior to asking for a refund by their customer service. Today, after I have secured another phone service, I called Vonage and asked for the refund only to be denied what I have pre paid. I have been a customer of Vonage since 2006 and this is how they treat me.

  • Thank you for the video. I will NOT be going with Vonage.

  • I hate vonage!

  • die vonage dieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee and go to hell

  • we have vonageeee it sucks i want my dad 2 get rid of it he wont

  • wow, that's a tough product. if it could survive that assault of less that manly blows. i want one.

  • I have had Vonage for 4 years plus, no problems! I agree with you I do not like their cancellation fee, but as far as service, no problems. Only thing i don't like is they do creep up on their fees. Much better than other provider I had though. Magicjacks work great at $20/year. Lifesaver when I was away on a trip1 Maybe an alternative for you.

  • This guy is really mad

  • I've had Vonage for almost 4 years with no complaints. I guess it depends on what you're looking for. I'm going on my 2nd year of paying $12.50/month for unlimited service within the U.S. I've never had a problem with the company, website, or representatives.

  • i believe u

  • Vonage is a great service but the company's getting GREEDY. They don't seem to understand that you need to pay extra for internet for their service to function, YET they want to charge like a regular phone company.

I have the 500 min plan. they sent me a decietful email announcing that they're increasing it to 750, but make no mention that they will be increasing my bill to $20/month.

The real reason is that COMCAST has introduced a similar service with unlimited minutes for $20.00

  • Comment removed

  • he hits like a girl

  • I have had vonage for 6 months now. No problems with it at all. Easy as pie to set up and never a problem since. Your problems must be in your head

  • Love this. Too bad you can't take that hammer to a Vonage customer service rep.

  • You must be some rocket scientist dude. Al you need to do is FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS I did. I had phone service in about 5 minutes (I had a firmware update download)

I've saved THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS calling al over the world for about $25.00 a month without a contract.

And WOW what a wuss start going to the gym, you are weeeeak

    What a d i c k h e a d

  • @JacobusFerrus They suck go to VoipVoip dotcom pay on 6.99 a month VONAGE BLOWS! I Cancelled my debit card before the last bill and phone number port so I didn't get screwed by them, however every now and then I get some collection agency calling me. I lie and tell them I don't live there.

  • Thats right if u internet service sucks Vonage too . I got nice internet service and vonage works great for me . Pd. I just paid first month and nothing else

  • I love dealing with customer such as these over the phone... They call in saying they have PHD and DOCTORATES and Years in Harvard but dont know how to connect a phone line...... Dumb asses.

  • bonage #1 i save 800 dollars for year vs any other companies free coll unlimited for 26 dollars for moths ah!!!! cost you need Internet daaa!!! so olmost 98% have Internet in home so is a big save!!!! i am sorry for you juas juas juas jua jaus!!!

  • yes it does much like magic jack

  • @mulspears1 For whatever reason, we cannot get a good high-speed connection in the part of town we're at, which is odd since we're only a mile away from the San Jose International Airport. Basically what happens now are these long pauses-audio will cut out, I hear nothing on the other end for like 20 seconds. The boss who set all this up works for CIsco, so he should know what he's doing. He has blocked access to YouTube at work, so we couldn't even watch videos if we wanted to.

  • Im With you all the way! Every week somehow the router dosnt want to work anymore andi have to resetup (its supposed to be easy) Hell No! It that hardest shit ever i dont understand anything! im going back to Iowa-telecom. so easy and way faster.

  • Internet keeps cutting off :|

  • Some people say that Tollfreenumber ORG is better, cheaper, and a lot more reliable. I recommend getting your own 800 number from Tollfreenumber ORG

  • Don't blame vonage.. blame your Internet Provider.. If your internet is crap, then vonage will be crap too.. that's why they call it a VOIP service.. this people dont even know what they are signing in.. then after wards, blaming the company for their stupidity..

  • continuation... if after doing all of those your connection is still not up or your audio is still not good, then check your isp. you hv a serious problem with your connection to the internet. browsing speed is not a guarantee of a good connection, QoS or quality of service is. there are test that needs to be done to know how consistent is your connection. If your QoS is below 97% then blame your problem to your ISP.

How funny this man is. Calling a vonage adapter/router a modem... wahahaha...

  • continuation... do not reset any device without tech's advise. It will not help. Reseting is the first thing an idiot subscriber will do when the connection is out. no wonder your connection goes out, the settings in the device you reset are gone after you reset. Friendly advice, if vonage is not working turn if off together with the device where its connected, either ya modem or router for a minute. turn on the modem or router first then wait for a minute before you turn on the vonage adapter.

  • continuation... most importantly, make sure your router is not blocking the ports used by vonage. How can vonage transmit properly when ports 5060, 5061 and ports 10000 - 20000 are being blocked by your stupid router? my advise, put your vonage next to your modem, not next to your router. If you are afraid to do this then do not expect good results. I know your ISP will tell you not to do that but who knows the vonage device better? its the vonage tech people - follow what they say.

  • You know when vonage would suck? That's when you have a terrible internet connection. I dont understand how this american people can be so idiot and opportunist. They have 768kbps to 1.5 internet speed, have 5 computers networked to it and have a vonage line and then expect a wonderful sound quality with vonage. Wow! how stupid. you know what, its simple, if you want vonage to work well for you make sure you have enough speed to support every electronic device in the network. To be continued...

  • I recently visited vontrump.com. They have some very cool options for voip related products.

  • Totally agree. It sucks. I love the way you will be talking to someone and then everything goes silent. The person on the other end thinks you hung up, you can't hear them. It's really annoying.

  • @zizwop You know why its happening...? its because your internet connection is not able to carry the transmission of the packets... check the latency in your internet connection, it is significantly high, i know it... Blame it to your ISP...

  • @mulspears1 Yeah, the boss at work did some tweaking and assigned priority to the data packets handling voice, it seems to be much better now. Of course, now everything else is slow -lol.

  • @zizwop nope... the only bandwith vonage needs to transmit at its best is 90kbps... just 90kbps... so if you think it will eat too much of your bandwith, you're wrong... lets say you have a very good connection of 10mbps coz u r rich and can afford, then how much is 90kbps out of your 10mbps speed? 90 kbps is too damn small... if setting vonage to high which is the 90kbps will make your connection slower then you have some other problem, you may need to check the security setting of your router.

  • @zizwop not the vonage router, your wireless router.. another tip, if your speed plan is not that amazing, avoid playing videos on youtube or any other video streaming site if someone is talking on the vonage phone, the upload speed will suffer and it will make your connection slow at that time and will also make the phone's audio choppy... Its a matter of prioritizing... if you like the phone to sound really good, then do not use the computer while engaged in a call.

  • I was with vonage, I am currently using voxcorp. They have several great options at their online store vontrump.com

  • LOL's

  • LOL. I had the same issue. Just unhook the vonage box from the modem and plug the vonage box into the wireless router. I assume he has a wireless router, doesn't everyone? I have Vonage and it works great

  • MAGICJACK!!! MAGICJACK!!! MAGICJACK!!! Vonage Sucks. My friend ditched Vonage for MagicJack. He's much happier now.

  • @CubeComputerChannel Magic Jack, lol. You absolute need a computer 100% of the time to make phone calls, they don't have a technical support number you can call because you are required to email them for help, and transfering a number to or away from Magic Jack is one huge ass hassel. Have fun using Magic Jack, when you're computer doesn't work, how will you make a phone call?

  • @mavyt That's the thing. If one computer fails, that's what my extra machines are for. Besides, there's nothing wrong with leaving a computer on all the time. MagicJack doesn't charge you a monthly fee and add additional fees to the advertised price like Vonage. MagicJack is in the beta process of opening number porting. In terms of customer support, magicJack has live support online. With Vonage, you have to go through a phone tree and wait forever.

  • @CubeComputerChannel that's not true... wait... where can you call more than 60 countries free for $14.99? vonage is still a bet...

  • @mulspears1 Yes it is true... It's proven on YouTube. Remember, Vonage charges you their advertised introductory price of $14.99 a month, but wait... they tack on a bunch of fees and taxes and charge you $40 to cancel the service(+ charges for router/modem). After all the money that's spent on Vonage, you'd still be saving when calling internationally with magicJack's low rates. Or better yet, send a MJ to whoever you like to call overseas, and not be charged extra for international.

  • I just cancelled mine today. I had to wait a month to cancel because they took a month to release my phone number to comcast. Now they want to charge me an extra $40.00 for a cancellation fee even though there records showed I was loosing service 2 or 3 times a week. They can have there fee when they can remove the $40.00 out of my dead hand...

  • so i assume vonge sucks ass what voip is good to use?

  • you could have sold that for $118 on crAIGSLIST

  • i tried to cancel last night and they told me i had to pay 79 bucks for that piece of shit modem or caller id box.i tried getting them to help me but to no avail. they are terrible.what they dont show you on that fucking commercial are all the people jumping back into the pile or bills to find there old carriers because they realized they got hosed in the ass. when you talk to someone ,its like you stuttered, their constantly asking , what ? what? what id you say ? your breaking up... fuck them

  • the sound was off on this video

  • I just called Vonage and if I had a their device in my hand, i would smash it TOO!!! omg i just wanted to pull my hair out, that was the WORST customer servicer ever! and the lady kept talking over me and told me call back when i get an email address so that she could give me the same rate per minute for Burkina Faso which i told her i am not interested in, but i was looking for a monthly fee, she continued to be rude so i hung up, thank god im not a Vonage customer LOL

  • Vonage truly sucks and that's all I'll say about that!

  • Awesome-just cancelled today.

  • Haha YES! Vonage is a source of daily frustration for me. There are too many awful aspects of vonage to list. I hate it SO MUCH!!! And that is all the time I'm going to waste on commenting about that joke of a company.

  • vonage is a joke! The internet conenction always drops out, or lags and becomes REALLY SLOW! and i ALWAYS get the stupid "HIGH VOLTAGE" error. im not gonna fucking call vonage support everyday. i have to unplug the conage device for 24hrs, and then it will work again. plus, that problem also makes the phones useless as it doesnt work. so basically if there is no internet, no phon, and i get his all the time from vonage. i just canceled their services today.

  • trying to cancel my vonage service and the customer service hangs up on me! Bout to smash the crap out of my vonage box.

  • That little modem actually seems pretty well built. I guess that's one plus.

  • You're a douche. You should have had your 15 year old neighbor kid hook it up for you. I'm sure he would have told you you're a douche too. You NEED a good broadband service for Vonage. Trust me when I say most 1.5mbps connections won't work. I have used vonage for 6+ years and the only time I had problems was when I switched to a slower speed from my ISP to save money. Vonage needs a good Upload and Download. 4-8mbps down and 768kbps to 1.5mbps up should be plenty if it's from a decent ISP

  • The women in their commercials is so freaky.

  • Guys In order For Vonage to work you need to have a high speed internet a dsl or cable and fios internet will do.90 kbps to be exact. If you have any problem with the voice you need to adjust your bandwith ok.In regards to the contract Before vonage has disconnection fee of $39.99 and a rebate recovery fee of $79.99 for the device .But Right now Vonage is having a Promotion of No annual Contract and No disconnection fee no rebate fee for a limited promotion...

  • Try Nomado Telecom. best voice, best support even have live chat support which no other ITSP offers...

  • Vonage really does suck. When i do use my home phone, theirs a delay in the outgoing sound. Thats only when it works!

  • I agree, Vonage is terrible! I had it for 5 weeks, constant static, dropped calls, hidden fees and not to mention I talked to 9 different Vonage "techs" and none could help or had any record of previous phone calls. Of course, I was charged $130.00 to cancel even though I was lied to and told they would extend my warranty for two weeks. Well worth the money not having to deal with the frustration. I have filed a complaint with the BBB. Stay away from this company, major scam!

  • @dyemery hahaha... you are funny... hidden charges? i dont think so... check your charges on your online account... you will see the break down of the charges. vonage do automatic billing, if something is charged to your account, an email is sent to you to inform you. the tech people cant help you because they cant do anything with your connection. static and drop calls are due to a problem in your internet connection. i know you dont want to hear that but that's the sad truth. Vonage = ISP.

  • Cant stand Vonage!!! its the worse company in this country!! This video should be on national TV

  • i hate vonage and i luv ur vid!!!!!!!! ur right my internet is on and i call anyone for shit!!!! ima trying to get on my xox but guesss what omg i cant go on!!!!!! fuck you gay ass vonage!!!!!@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@!!!!!!!!!! and t says this we cannot connect your internet service wtfffff im on my fucking internet!!!!!!!!!

  • i h8 vonage@@@@@ wen i ever i take the ethernet cable off my modem 2 play xboxlive the phone goes away!@!@@ wtf@@!@

  • @linkinparksushi You need a $20.00 switch from wallmart. The vonage modem is a linksys router with dmz and qos functions. If you setup qos correctly game play will improve because of smoother packet flow

  • I got my Vonage 4 months ago when it was $14.99 a month. Like God sent, the quality is unimaginably awesome! It saved me at least $50 a month because we call a lot of out families overseas. I think soon people will realize how much they can save with abundance of benefits Vonage provides. I dont want to go back to use a landline ever again.

  • @pattaraj People have realized how much they can save. That's why all these complainers tried it. Including me. My guess is you have a fast internet speed. Where I live I can only get normal-high speed DSL. This causes many dropped calls. I think this may be a problem with a lot of people. Vonage does not tell you this and tries charging you ridiculous fees for canceling. I save $30 a month but it isn't worth it when I get dropped every hour or so. You should consider yourself lucky.

  • @supergooddeal

recently i have been experiencing problems like drop call and sometimes it took several attempts to make a call through. Having said that the sound is always clear. Yes, it's irritating but the pro is that we still can save a lot of money because we make international calls several times a day. so the cost and hassle are justified.

  • @pattaraj I hear ya. I hope it doesn't get any worse for you. Seems to only go down hill. I'd love to keep them but enough is enough. I also have a business to run online and I can't afford to loose everything I'm typing. Maybe one day they'll get all the bugs out of it. With the money there making on newbees and cancellations they should be able to afford some new equipment. LOL Peace.

  • @supergooddeal Exactly. As many have said Vonage is ONLY AS GOOD as your Internet Provider. So many people see "14.99 per month phone service, omg must sign up" and don't realize their phone servce HINGES on their internet service. Wireless internet services (HughesNet, Clearwire,) don't work, same goes for Satellite services. You need a DSL or Cable connection with very high speed (I'd recommend 6+ Mbps download, 1+ Mbps upload). 9 out of 10 times any audio issues, are internet speed related

  • @mavyt correct... vonage mirrors your internet connection. If it's giving you bad audio or intermittent connection then it means your isp is having the problem. vonage just shows it.. A what is reflected in the terms of service, "vonage is dependent to your ISP"... The better connection you get from your isp the better vonage will be... That's the simple analogy...

  • HIGH SPEED INTERNET REQUIRED. † LIMITED TIME OFFER, VALID FOR NEW LINES ONLY. RATES EXCLUDE INTERNET SERVICE, SURCHARGES, FEES AND TAXES. FOR CANCELLATION AFTER THE 30-DAY MONEY BACK GUARANTEE PERIOD...

  • Too bad it did not work out. My service has been great, but I also have great internet access service so they go hand in hand. If a persons internet access is spotty then the voip will not work well. Not sure why a cancellation fee had to be paid as Vonage has a 30 day money back gaurantee: HIGH SPEED INTERNET REQUIRED. † LIMITED TIME OFFER, VALID FOR NEW LINES ONLY. RATES EXCLUDE INTERNET SERVICE, SURCHARGES, FEES AND TAXES. FOR CANCELLATION AFTER THE 30-DAY MONEY BACK GUARANTEE....

  • I agree vonage go to hell an never come back

  • you think that's hurting vonage? lol! damn raccoons...

first of all...didn't you see the information about the contract...and you know what happens when you breach a contract...somebody pays.

reset button? you couldn't figure that out ace? how long have modems been in our lives? shouldn't we be able to do some basic troubleshooting?

i agree, when you need help, you need help...but damn.

so it comes down to a dis with the hammer...wow. ok then, you really showed them.

  • @doctorsizzle Would if the contract didn't say I needed High speed internet.

Would if I spent hours on the phone with them resetting the modem over and over for 2 months. Oh, and basic trouble shooting. Well I guess the sentence before covers that one.

Why didn't they tell me my speed wasn't fast enough after they they tested it.

Oh, I know why. They love making you hold on to suck a little more money out of people. Then try and cancel for a legitimate reason and they charge me $180.

  • @supergooddeal thanks for the reply.

if it's a toll free line you call...how is that taking more money? time yes, money...no.

so you didn't know about an early termination fee, or...that you need something faster than 56K?

if not, i'm sorry you had to go through that!

  • @doctorsizzle Hi, Well It actually took time and money because I run my boomerang business online. I've spent the last 14 days trying to get Fairpoint back but Vonage is giving them a hard time about giving me my number back. Also looks like I may get my money back. 29 states including mine are filing claims. I don't see it happening but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Looks like I may have to buy a pigeon. LOL

  • ooooorrrrrrrr you could just sell it and get your money back :\

  • omg i was going to do this once i ended my vonage service

  • cry moar

  • no wonder i hate white people.

  • the vonage problem is out sourcing. their people in INDIA and the phillipines suck

  • Maybe things have changed. I called with a problem yesterday (that turned out to be my phone). The guy was American and took a lot of time debugging my problem, even when it was obvious it wasn't a Vonage issue. I was pretty happy with it.

  • I wish I'd seen this before subscribing to Vonage.

Still, your video was posted in 2008, it's now 2010 and I can report there's been no improvement in their appalling service.

  • Well, all I can say is I have been using vonage for over 5 years. It has worked perfectly. When I travel, just unplug and take it with me. Get to hotel or where ever, plug it in and good to go. As it is a VOIP, it comes without saying you must have a solid, reliable broadband internet connection for vonage to work.

  • Well, you paid for it, you're ruining your own stuff, lol.

  • I LOVE THIS VIDEO

  • where do i return my vonage box?

  • Thanks for this

  • I agree vonage suck and should be shutdown if you do not have internet you do not have phone, simple is that, the router that vonage use is the worst quality,

in other words is a piece of shit, vonage die for ever

  • @jhp1100 that's the whole concept behind VOIP! lol...you folks are simply mindless.

  • Comment removed

  • Ip is still evolving peeps. Doesnt mean Vontage doesnt suck it just means everything ip has issues and will have for several years because its growing o fast EVERYTHING is going ip

  • You got off easy; Vonage stole several hundred dollars from me, left me without service for months, made me waste hours - NO DAYS! being transferred or hung up on, lied to me repeatedly, held my phone number hostage, and made my wife cry. I would only be satisfied by taking a sledge hammer to their CEO's skull. Anyone know where I can find their office?

    VONAGE SUCKS HORSE COCK!

  • You totally kicked that modems.

  • I couldn't agree more, Vonage is the pits. I now use Ooma, NO services fees, just buy a device for $250.

  • My family has vonage and I hate it more than anything. Everytime the phone goes out on it's own or internet or both and it takes so long to get it back, I HATE IT!!!!

  • guys go for magic jack , although , it makes some trouble but still working great better than vonage . If you want to save money for l;ong distance go for that ...............:):):):):):):)

  • IDK About Everyone On Here Bashing Vonage But, It's Been The Best Home Phone Carrier My Family Has Ever Had. Not Once Has It Gone Down. When My INTERNET Was Down, I Logged Onto My Account Using My Phone And Made It Forward All The Calls To My Cell. That Was Awesome. Hasn't Let Me Down. Same Bill Every Month. Only $32.60. No More, No Less.

  • i like the idea, but next time be more creative, idk tape paper around it and light it on fire...

  • That's why they charge you a lot...

That is a SUPER HEAVY DUTY DEVICE Buddy...

    Unbelievable Resistance.

  • Vonage: what dose 30day money back mean ? they don't know the person at vonage was so mean she told me this is gonna a world war and i said yes world war three never again trust me they suck.

  • on Dec 26 2009 my vonage router went down, okay first I thought their server went down, but that is not the case, I have RCN internet and for some security reason they blocked vonage, I cannot even get onto the website, stating page load error. Now I am going to get an old fashion phone with a wall jack, at least it will never go down. That is my vonage experience.

    V

  • Vonage works great for me. I love it! It also saves me a lot of money. I think the guy in this video is a little crazy and also needs better internet service.

  • true.. hahaha... if you don't have good internet service then shit your screwed.. hahaha.. that poor vonage device.. get all beat to h ell.. I have been with vonage for 2 1/2 years now, excellent works all the time.. i prepaid it too so i don't have a monthly bill, My bill comes up once a year..

  • haha destroy it man destroy it.

  • next time shoot at it

  • vonage is perfect.... you suck!

  • good man honestly, vonage seems terrible

  • vonage is a scam. I once was brainwashed thinking this company was the best in the world.

  • Not sure what you guys are thinking, but I love Vonage!! I have been with them for 4 years now and can honestly say that I have only had 2 problems during that time. Just my thoughts.

  • worthless... "connecting' god damnit i need to make a call.

  • Vonage does suck

  • vonage is an excellent service! u losers don't know how to make use of it!

  • So sorry I didn't check youtube before i got this terrible service...disservice

customer service rep have American names but Philippine culture, they are good for nothing. i want to get rid of it, they don't have call block feature and anonymous call block doesn't work as well. call drops, echo and i had such a good service before. i got them bc of an add with international global plan.

  • Vonage rocks. Your problem was with your ISP in all likelihood, not Vonage.

  • This. 9 out of 10 times it is an internet connection issue, or people decide to connect their Vonage device behind a router of some type. People fail to realize a voice over IP (internet for those that don't understand the term IP) service requires a functioning internet service at X speed to work, need to just man up and pay their local telecom company the higher price for service with them.

  • Goto wehatevonage . com for more!

  • Vonage is terrible. For no reason, our internet stays up, but Vonage decides to drop our calls and annoy us.

  • Seriously,

I am on my 3rd year of Vonage in Canada. I swear, I have not had a single issue, except when the power goes out. No internet, no Vonage. Even then, I have all my calls routed to my cell phone, I have never missed a call. I love paying 19.99 per month as opposed to any other phone company. All features included

  • My Vonage was worked just fine for 4 years now. I also have a UK phone number on my account. The only problem I have ever had with Vonage is....nothing. Only issues is if my ISP is down, then the Vonage backup service kicks in. Works great. Happy Vonage customer here.

  • let me tell you vonage also has the network availability number, its the feature that u use wehn isp is down... make sure u never lose a call..

and have you heard of the vonage world plan?

  • heh. he would have got all the money back if he had just sent the adapter back. dumbass.

  • I LOVE LOVE LOVED this video!!!

    I HATE HATE HATE V O N A G E

I too have been charged a $110 termination fee for their crappy service.

I too will happily put an end to my Vonage modem:)

They are bullies and use strong arm tactics - run for the hills!!!!

  • Vonage Suck! I don't recommend it to anyone. I had it for about 4 months now, and the service is so bad, so terrible, that I have called customer service 47 times in that 4 months period, Can you believe it!? Too many service interruptions. The first 2 weeks everything was great, and then the quality of phone service was so choppy that you can't have a conversation with anyone. If you considering in getting Vonage, I can guarantee you, YOU WILL REGRET IT! So what I did, I canceled my service.

  • Were you on DSL or Cable. I used mine in conjunction with Rogers Cable in Canada. Since then, no issues. Bell DSL is much slower, so it's definitely not recommended with any voip system.

  • @Trulylatino ok ive been getting the error code of death which means no phone or internet so pretty much its a paper weight

  • I wish to do that to the Router they gave me. The useless Linksys WRTP54G; drops my wireless connection from time to time. Get Ooma, no more monthly payment or terms. Just buy the device and you get the dialtone for life. --or until the company survives.

  • well m'kay.. common sense,,

  • Vonage is over rated, I'll stick to my cell phone. That's all I need. I don't need a headache. They treat you great the first time and then when you want to cancel, then the treat you like crap. Good Luck Losers'.... Like Dave Ramsey says (Don't Waste your money)

  • Vonage is a great deal. they helped swtich my old number to vonage, they help me set up the phone with in 2 mins. I have learned a lot in the past years and if you want to save moneyVonage is worth it. its 1 year now, I have referred many friends and the service keeps going
