Have you seen the faces on Mars, where it looks like there was a catastrophe & many people died? I've also heard that Mars has an abnormal shape now, because it was hit by something. Is it possible that one part of the planet is devastated while another is still habitable?

@xander7ful I been strolling on google Mars all day now. I've seen things which I cannot explain either. Yes, I suppose that could be possible that the other part of the planet still is habitable. I've heard that an asteroid hit the planet in the past. But after seen these structures. I'm afraid that might be a lie as well. By the way, could that light blue be a lake? A city by the lake???

We only know what we see around us and fortunatly for some we see 'strange things'. All it takes is one strange event to turn a head from the norm.

Go to the ESA (European Space Agency) website and find a photo of the Hale Crater. You can download it directly from their page. Look at the bottom part of that crater and tell me that those patterns were formed by a natural process. There are hundreds of geometrical patterns there. See for yourself and make up your own mind, but imo, it clearly shows the evidence of intelligent life on Mars...at least at some point in time. I'd be interested in hearing theories.

JPL used to have a wicked pic of the Mars syrface which showed retangles, squares and just not natural shapes, pic 21 in the Mars set, if it's still there check it out. I think we humans have been around along time and we inhabit 1000's of planets. Earth and why we are prisoners still makes me scratch my head. Purely Control??, what a waste of energy if it is.

All we can do is keep searching for the answers and put any information out here on the free web so others can start digesting the data. people need time to take information in. so how exactly does google maps make these images? i dont understand how google maps recieves these images? u sure the google maps program isnt just inserting those structures or you think the reason they dont show up on pics is cause theyre buried? hope to hear from you

@torrow Google earth program allows you to view satellite images of earth. Also Google earth program has the option to view Mars satellite images. The satellite images of Mars are directly loaded from Nasa servers. These images of Mars can be found in the Google earth program by changing to the Mars globe. If Nasa is deliberately inserting these images with structures then the question still is why ? Why are there images of Mars being released into Google Mars with depictions of structures.

@topjonn This is not shading artifacts. The term image artifact cam about when people first starting finding anomalies in NASA images. It was NASA's term for having people believe that the things they found in the images came about due to compression of the image. Image artifacts are mostly square, these are not square panelized artifacts. Some people just don’t get it, if these are nothing, or defects in the image, Why does NASA/JPL allow them to be released? "Alpha Bits">? =Bad comparison.

@ISamuelII I have seen some of those blotches you speak of. the blotches are not uniform in a sense they are not square on the corners of them. They actually look like someone has used the blur tool in a image program and added a blur over the area. Yes I believe they are to hide something that was very large and could not easily be hidden by distance or size.

@Ufoevidence101 That is what I was getting at, they were not "pixelated" problems, on film. I've seen a few inteviews with one of the artists that helped to touch up photos prior to release. She just airbrushed them out, whatever they were she didn't say. I don't recall the details but I do recall her hesitation when asked 'what did you alter?', however it was worded.

Sorry, I believe in a form of life on Mars, maybe a civilization in a long past.. But on Google Mars we have some pictures with "defects", and I think these "structures" are defects of light.. They are present on all the surface with light on a large surface of this big picture. Try again with an other "Global Maps" on Google Mars : "daytime Infrared" or other.

But all of this not compromise the work which you make..

Now you've finally convinced me. Perfect rectangular shapes DO NOT exist in nature. I don't care what planet you're on. If these are ancient structures, that would explain the consistent coloration of the buildings and roads from dust in the Martian wind. If this was a quirk created by over enlargement, they would be regular pixels, not a wide variety of shapes.
