Used to watch Johnny in Sebastopol, CA as he did a Sunday morning live show from the Powerhouse Brewery, spinnin' discs and talking music. He was a cool guy. Have a signed cookbook he published and thought we'd honor him in an upcoming chili cook-off in Petaluma by naming our team "Chili Willie and the Hand Jives"! RIP, Johnny!
@d820m I don't know, so your'e right. I searched in vain on the net for a picture of Rene Hall - lead on Richie Valens records! - and I think its the one on a Fats video with Earl Palmer.
Anyone can tell us--who the dancer with the dark glasses is and if the full version of the movie is callled?

Isn't that Jack Jones looking goofy sitting on the table? He likely wished he had one tenth the soul of Johnny Otis;)
