  • how often do they need replaced?

  • haha I've bought two pair the same way...GF lost them on me and these are really beast. I actually use them as earplugs to sleep in the afternoon when my house is noisy. The only problem I've had is the plastic part of the buds separating...but a little superglue and it's all good

  • I love my JVC Marshmallows! I have the same one but with a mic built-in! Model number: HA-FR36(in case u want to know!). I have had like 5 pairs of these earbuds(I don't take very good care of my things). :)

  • do they have good bass? i have to have loud bass in my earbuds!

  • I once also had another pair of earbuds, and they had an extra speaker, and an extra volume control, and those were AMAZING!!! I think they blocked out EVERY NOISE, even with an iPod at like 40-50% volume...

  • I have the HAFR-36S, and put a computer at full blast with airplane noise going on, and with my iPhone at half volume, I couldn't hear it at all.

  • I wish they had a 15-20MM speaker inside these-That

  • These really block out planes, and motorcycles!

  • And you can listen to your iPod at lower volumes with the philips 3580. The cord is 1.2 meters long (3.94) feet they in my opinion-are comfortable-Don't know about the durability, but they seem good, and yeah. Thats all!

  • If you don't like the bass, and treble, just go to EQ in the iPod settings.

  • Thanks for this man, looked it up and it's only £16, I will go buy myself a pair

  • 4 purchase? Do they break easy?

  • Ya i got a pair, great sound, fit handy enough under my lid which is tight,

Only thing is they stick out a small bit as i have a small ear canal so i got a pair of Sennheiser CX400 and they are unreal, fit right down in my ear no sticking out what so ever, €60 but well worth it, i use the JVC ones for everyday use and the Sennheiser for the bike

  • @Dossy600 wow... I looked these Sennheiser CX400 earbuds up... very nice... I'll try purchasing these next, and if the roast my marshmallows, I'll post a vid up regarding their quality. thanks for the suggestion! ride safe. be cool. tigerpause

  • @tigerpause444 This is an unreasonable question, I know-but are they better than HAFX-35, because they look a little different.

  • @Beatboxer1964 you know what? not an unreasonable question.. I bought the hafx-35.. the sound quality is just as good, but the ear marshmallow material is slightly softer.. I prefer the 1st generation

  • @tigerpause444 one more unreasonable question-what percentage was your iPod at to not hear the Airplane, and the motorcycle-50%??? I am dying to know. And was your iPod at 80% volume with the motorcycle?

  • >well built

    >not right angled plug

    loll

  • Bose QC15 vs. JVC Marshmallow

  • @Beatboxer1964 I haven't tried the BOSE QC15s.. but I'm absolutely sure the BOSE would ROAST these marshmallows... but i'll stick to my $22 earbuds for now.. it suits my needs

  • @Beatboxer1964 ok, I looked up the Bose QC15s.. they're over the ear type head phones.. of course they'll roast these marshmallows.. the speaker is way larger, allowing a larger spectrum of frequencies.. you can't compare the speed of an airplane vs a bicycle beatboxer1964

  • @tigerpause444 do the HAFX-35s have better isolation, they are 2db louder than these-so I am assuming.

  • @tigerpause444 JVC HAFX-33? Please reply. Which model is it exactly? Thanks. Unreasonable question.

  • @Beatboxer1964 yes!!! JVC HAFX-33

  • @tigerpause444 what volume was ipod at for you not to hear the plane-50%????

  • I bought a pair of jvc "Noise Isolation" or something for $18 and they have little rubber thinggys that cancel out sound very well and have INCREDIBLE sound quality, why spend 60? lol

  • @MetalMakesMeEargasm nice testimony

  • @tigerpause444 @tigerpause444 Try Philips 3580-They are louder than these, and they have great bass, and they are most like noise cancelling, they are pretty darn close. They are so loud, you won't be able to hear your motorcycle, the plane, train, and they are even louder than QC15. If at full blast for more then a few minutes, you could most likely go deaf. AND they are only 10 bucks! At 65-85% volume you should be satisfied. NOTE-You will blow your eardrums with 100% volume.

  • any of u wanna get the best ear buds that sound bomb af, are the (jvc extreme explosions in ear) they are sold on amazon for $20 friend of mine has the dr. dre beats and literly they sound the same, earbus have lots of bass and the highs and lows, hit me up for anymore questions about them

  • @emattd57 oooh.. cool.. I'll look these up

  • these are crazy good for their price. but i gotta say, the radius atomic bass earbuds are.am.az.ing. their 40 bucks. look 'em up. better than ibeats by dre.

  • @tpswagga3 nice... I will look those up... I specifically like these marshmellow earbuds because they don't have the 90degree angle plug sticking out.. it makes it very usable under a motorcycle helmet

  • Illegal, stupid and down right DANGEROUS and with bonus hearing loss thrown in...WOW, I'll pass.

  • @Indogyearsimdead i'm sorry, please repeat that comment.. I didn't hear you

  • hype comfort headphones are being sold at gamestop for 5$ and they are awesome.

  • so u tell me I should get these over my 3-Way 400$ In-Ear Monitors? lol'd

  • i wonder way this is the 4th time you purchase these headphones...btw motorcycle riders dont need music...the sound of the engine is music....i think you have a scooter !

  • @cata89l I lost my other 3 pairs.. so because I lose stuff all the time, I will continue to buy spares of these earbuds.. I can't live without them.. I even give them away as gifts!!

  • The last word word in isolation goes to the etymotic research lineup. The mc5 can be had for $60 USD. Good sound, but more aimed at the neutral listener than the basshead. But the comfort downside to all etymotic is that they have to go really deep in the ear to get that ultimate isolation.

  • Great Video, i was thinking of getting the €100 set but i will give these a try 1st, Thanks

  • @Dossy600 so, did you get a pair? tell me if you enjoyed them

  • where do you buy them

  • @hnkg0909 JVC Marshmallows... bestbuy, walmart, ebay

  • What model number are these?

  • @johnguy0123 i don't know.. try: JVC Marshmallows... bestbuy, walmart, ebay

  • Would love to have these headphones but can't find them with the same color. Coud you write their exact names pls?

  • @Hadryen18200 JVC Marshmallows... bestbuy, walmart, ebay

  • dude these are dangerous on bike !

  • they don't tatse like marshmellows

  • @ErrectifiedPeePee haha!! yups, a little bitter after they've been in the ears.. I've tried to taste them too!

  • how much is it?

  • @HELLYEAHF00 $18 - $22

  • @tigerpause444 Are these the same as HAFX-35's or a lot louder? Or the same. Because there are different kinds of models. Also, what else does it block out? And finally, are they better than Bose QC3's or QC15's? These are the HAFX-34?

  • Look at the Koss KE29e's... much better build quality than these, in-line volume control, and a much wiser dB range with audio passage. And you can find them easily for $20, mine have lasted me over 2 years with no signs of wear!

  • @spazman13579 oooh, nice.. I'll def look em up

  • Staples has a pair for $10 that are fantastic and sound unbelievable. Best part is that they have a volume control so when I am in traffic with my motorcycle I can turn down the volume. I bought about 10 pair just in case they discontinued them

  • @doable1 you're a smart smart person

  • I have these earbuds in silver and I've had them a year now, and they finnally broke today beacause of the wire wearing and it finnaly snapped

  • Does it have a mic?

  • @momo1748 no microphone

  • @momo1748 depends on which one you get, the JVC HAFR36 has a mic.

  • hay cool nice job buddy im going to order a pair asap

  • @videomaker74 cool.. lemme know how it goes

  • I stand by my JVC Marshmallow headphones very firmly because of their amazing price. You really cannot beat the price for what you get.

  • @slyscafe i agree.. thanks for the comment!

  • @LongboardingAZAsian nice.. thanks for the backup

  • @RWL2011 cool!

  • @KaamranK56 @KaamranK56 Quick. Like a couple days. Doesn't look like he has any at the moment though. His seller name is compuvest_corp Do a search on ebay for "JVC MARSHMALLOW". Should be able to find some other sellers.

  • Thx man. Been Lookin everywhere for somethin like this. Never heard of them before and I've really been Lookin around for something to drown out the wind and motorcycle noise. I'll order them now and pray that they work. Goin to Sturgis this year (3000 mile round trip) and need somethin to listen to my Pandora. I'll let you know bow they work.

  • @dustinjdurham how was your trip to sturgis? and how did these earbuds serve you?

  • The iPod picks up the vibration from the bike if I have the volume set to a 'medium' level even though the iPod is in my jacket pocket. Otherwise I have to crank it up. And No,, I'm not using a vibrator.

  • @Lexotic242 ok, sorry for the joke.. i was just messin with you.. that's strange.. I don't have that issue with my iPod... very strange

  • @tigerpause444 : No worries, I tried to come up with a smart-a@@ reply to the vibrator but could only come up with lame sh!!.

  • bought 2 pairs already, totally agree with the reviewer. they rock

  • @WildBillie NOICE!!

  • How do you keep the vibration from ruining the tunes. My iPod music comes across with alot of vibration.

  • @Lexotic242 wow.. I don't understand this comment at all.. are you using a vibrator?

  • hey could you please send me a link to these headphones?

  • @101shadowman try any walmart store

  • Get review no price do

  • @donayre21 sorry, they run about $20.00

  • I have yet to try these...hmmm

  • @apmason please read the rest of the comments on this video.. there are many who have tried these, and agree with my review.. enjoy life through your ears the way we have.. I promise you'll enjoy them

  • @tigerpause444 I've already ordered the Skullcandy Smokin' Buds, but thanks. I would probably get these if I hadn't though. Nice review.

  • I'm not sure how they're the greatest when you've had to buy 4 pairs.....

  • @mattmeadjr2008 I've misplaced my previous pairs.. I love these so much, I will continue to buy these.. JVC now has a 2nd generation of these headphones.. that proves that these headphones were successfu

  • Also, do the earbuds keep falling out? Cause it's really annoying when I lose them, Thanks :D

  • Hey, I'm thinking of getting these earphones after looking at this video, as my apple earphones have suddenly stopped working EVEN though I never mistreat them, anyways, I was wondering why you had to get them 4 times... I don't want to keep getting new earphones :s thanks

  • @RyuMagna I've misplaced my previous pairs.. I love these so much, I will continue to buy these.. JVC now has a 2nd generation of these headphones.. that proves that these headphones were successful

  • if they're so good why have u had to buy 4 pairs? do they not last long?

  • @ayemy no, I've misplaced my previous pairs.. I love these so much, I will continue to buy these.. JVC now has a 2nd generation of these headphones.. that proves that these headphones were successful

  • @tigerpause444 yup i just got em yesterday. their great.

  • @ayemy wow.. the key is, to squeeze them and roll them in your fingers, then stick em in your ear for a good 6 seconds, then do the other side.. I'm glad you like them

  • @ayemy I've misplaced my previous pairs.. I love these so much, I will continue to buy these.. JVC now has a 2nd generation of these headphones.. that proves that these headphones were successful

  • @tigerpause444 lol u already answered me...look down ;)

  • i just dont understand why they just build radios and cd players in motorbickes. who gonna hear ur music when ur going 50 mph on the freeway. and those kinda earphones wreck ur hearing.

  • are u dead yet? :P

  • why the hell would you were super noise cancelling earphones while driving?

  • there's a guy on ebay that sells these for $6.50 free shipping. I guess he buys them in bulk. No factory packaging, no warranty= great price. Can't beat that. Bought both my wife and myself a pair. I love these little earphones. I wish they were just a tad louder though.

  • @jtnoodle ..cool.. thanks for the heads up on the ebay guy.. that's a great price!!.. a bit louder? try using them on an iPod.. then put your settings to "loudness" and increase your volume limit.. Mine are so loud, I have to tone it down a bit sometimes.. if you're not using an iPod.. try messing with your mp3 settings.. boost the treble and bass.. I'm glad you and your lady are able to witness great sound out of these little buds

  • You are going to kill somebody. i hope a cop throws your butt in jail.

  • @Pieisgood2me ..once again, another hater.. .. little 22 year old man,.. please enlighten me on how I could "kill" someone while listening to headphones while riding my motorcycle.. .. Me and your mom should've not had you.. boy do we regret it.. go have fun with your stop motion vids son..

  • @tigerpause444 look if you were driving a toyota corolla or some other car where your boxed in and could have a stereo , I would say the same thing ,

but with a motor cycle i agree with Tiger i mean listening to nothing but motor gets boing after a while

i have to have my zune when i'm using the lawn mower , or i go crazy especially after hours and hours of mowing

i need back ground tunes to keep me sane !

  • @crammage true, true.. all true.. thanks for backing me up

  • @tigerpause444 >_< I use these in my car and I've never come close to getting in an accident due to them. I can hear everything around me just fine. Heck I have a harder time hearing when someone three car lengths back has a sub woofer that rattles his car windows than I do with these headphones on. Why is that considered safe but wearing a pair of headphones is automatically the most dangerous thing ever.

  • @felicianomiko good point!!!!

  • These are fantastic earbuds...but you're an asshole. As is anyone who would operate any motor vehicle with their hearing deliberately compromised. You are actually worse than a drunk driver; at least some of them are delusional enough to think their faculties are unimpaired. You are DELIBERATELY compromising your hearing and getting on a bike. Fuck you. I just hope you get jailed before you kill someone.

  • @mjl718 ... let's see, you're 48, drink cheap vodka, live in the basement of your moms house, but insist that your comment is intelligent,... you're pedantic.. (definition: An adjective that describes words, phrases, or general tone that is overly scholarly, academic, or bookish).. you tried to make a point that has no substance whatsoever. Please explain to me how I'm an asshole for listening to music while operating my motorcycle.. do you mind expanding, on how I could kill someone..

  • @tigerpause444 I'm 46 and have owned my own home for 20 years, idiot. If you don't understand how operating a motorcycle while listening to music with noise-canceling headphones poses a danger to yourself and those sharing the road with you, explaining it would be pointless.

  • @mjl718 exactly my point, you dropped "asshole" and "F-bombs" on me and can't back it up.. I've been riding for over 10 years with headphones.. I still would like you to explain how I can kill someone..I mean you're 46, with years ahead of me.. enlighten me.

I hope I'm not a grumpy guy like you when I'm 46.. you must've (since you're so keen on grammar, correct me if you must) had some rough years.. poor guy.. I feel sorry for you.. enjoy your life with your cat in your 20 year old house..

  • These suck the mashmellos got stuck in my ears nd the cord ripped

  • @PincheePolloFoo .. don't be so rough.. treat your belongings with respect, and everything will last longer..

  • i know its a little bit illegal lmao

  • @armhawk13 hee hee

  • I realy Apreciade for the Responce so quickly :)

  • i'm going to get a pair tomorrow, thanx for the video review !

  • @anealzone6 enjoy dogg. enjoy

  • @tigerpause444

    Yo Whats up,

I wannna Ask you Somtin,I wanna buy somtin for chrismas and I came to the conclusion I want earbuds,

Maybe as you know the music Génre Hardstyle or Dubstep,To enjoy the music i need Earbuds wich the Bass is realy good, And i mean real good I have to Feel the bass in my head :) so Please responce

    sorry for ym bad english

  • @Shirosaki54321 .. it really depends on your need. I use ear buds because they fit under my helmet.. If you truly want the best sound, I suggest you buy ear muff headphones with speakers over 40mm.. Look for the best frequency resppnse.. The normal audible bandwidth is between 20 Hz - 20,000 Hz (or 20kHz). get headphones that get close to these ranges. good luck... try these marshmallows out.. it'll only cost you $22. I've puchased many earbuds before.. these are the best (for me)

  • great video

lol @ can't hear my bike (a lil unsafe hehe)

  • @1990banks .. yups// hee hee

  • I bought a pair of the marshmallow headphone they are like the best headphone i had till now

  • @1998flash awesome

  • marshmellows? meh. sennheisers fuck. the. world.

  • @MattySP34Ks Looks like Senheisers ahd fucked your brain up! :D

  • @MogDavid maybe :P

  • Comment removed

  • @cheatingchris .. the three product codes you listed are the exact same thing.. I have no idea why they'd list three numbers like that

  • @tigerpause444 what kind of marshmallow JVC are you buying? Ignore the other message.

  • @cheatingchris .. honestly, I don't know.. all the models look alike.. I'm sure they all perform the same

  • skullcandy is cheap and great to. the dub earbuds are almost just as good as the ink'd. and the dub ear buds cost 10 dollars.

  • LOL Iv had 3 pairs and its a shame cus there good sound quaility but shite build quaility.

  • In the U.K. they come with a small set and a larger set. Great headphones, I used to use JVC Gumy and i saw these, i was like "£15, how the F*ck can I not buy any" ^_^

  • I have been using the KOSS versions that they sell at wal-mart for $28 bucks but they stop working after 3-4 months. The KOSS sound amazing, fit in the ear and cancel out the wind noise very good but seem to be to fragile for use under a helmet. I bought my wife a pair of these JVC's awhile back but did not try them till watching your review. WOW. They are pretty dang good and so much cheaper than the koss. I'm picking up a set tomorrow.. These JVC work great.

  • @hazootbenwar .. glad you can enjoy the bliss that I'm describing

  • eBay... $3.99 (slightly used/practically new)

  • haha kinda illegal???

  • @MRSNIFFMEFINGA .. yes.. kinda illegal.. :)

  • So far I've used 4 differnet types of earbuds, original iTunes, smokin buds, the shiny ones you get in the blackberry box, and these, and I think these are a little better than smokin buds, cause of better noise cancellation, and they last slot longer

  • Im using those right now xD

  • I'm on my 3rd pair. One pair can last over 2 years. These are really good. The marshmallow foam ear tip is the best for comfort and noise cancellation. Cramer mod these earbuds for superior audio quality...

  • @TheJovanist ... nice.. what is Cramer??

  • @tigerpause444 It's a simple modification to the JVC marshmallows. You take out the ear piece & rubber piece which reveals the white cloth-like OEM tip in the housing. You then replace the white tip with a small thin layer of soft foam. The highs and mid range will be released like never before because the white tip suppresses the sound. The amount of soft foam you add will dictate the result. This is the Cramer's mod. =D

  • @TheJovanist ... whoa... sick.. thanks for the household hack tip..

  • I have these and some Skullcandy Ink'd and for some reason, the Ink'd had better noise cancellation than the Marshmallows...

  • @RWTFska8te ... interesting.. I wonder if the ink'd head phones would fit under my moto helmet.. the marshmallows don't have a stem on the bottom, allowing me to slide my helmet on without popping the phones out of my ear..

  • @RWTFska8te No. The Skull Candies are trash. I had 2 JVC Marshmallows and had 1 pair of Skull Candy Ink'd. The inks are no good at all.

  • @ScrotoTheClown .. phucking NICE!!

  • i heard a guy got hit by a car and died when he was using noise cancelling head/ earphones because he couldn't hear the car driving straight at him when he was jay walking across the road............. ( i think somewhere in china a long time ago)

  • @XZSerenityZX ... daaaaamn.. let's hope that doesn't happen to anyone using these headphones.. thanks for the reality check

  • @ScrotoTheClown .. I'm glad you beneftitted from my video.. If you read some of the other comments on this video, there are many testimonies of people extremely pleased with these phones.. I can't wait 'till you experience them..

please come back, and let me know how you like them.. if you don't like them.. you will only have lost $22. I've spent at least a $100 buying several different headphones looking for "that sound". good luck kind sir...

    tigerpause

  • i want one man

  • @sebax212 .. read the other comments on my review.. many people like these headphones

  • mine arrived from ebay a day ago

    and these are great!!

they are just as good as my $50 earphones !!

  • @hachi9992jrn ... awesome!! I'm glad more and more people are watching this review and listening to my comments.. I'm glad you're experiencing the cheap marshmallows.. thanks for the comment and the comparison to your $50 phones..

  • This is going to sound odd, but thanks for having this video in your channel... I completely forgot that I lost one of my headphones similar to these on my last ride... and I am about to take a 4 day trip... I had almost forgot the bud on mine was missing.. I simply double-checked that the pair was in my jacket.

  • @todkapuz .. it's not odd at all.. I'm glad other riders can benefit the way I do, and I want to share this with all riders (but on the other hand, my video does state that I can't hear emergency vehicles).. Please come to my channel to see some of my custom motorcycle helmets.. Jack in the Box, Darth Vader, Optimus Prime, Iron Man (to name a few).. or see 808yewtube's interview of me titled: " Got Helmet? "

    be cool

    have a fun trip

live to ride, ride to live

    tigerpause

  • can u hear bass on them

  • @alvie00 .. most definitely. I've gone through over 20 different earbuds in my life, searching for the best bass and sound.. the marshmallows do the job

  • @tigerpause444 thnx

  • How long did they last u exactly

  • what ones should i get yellow or red i like the yellow ones

  • @KZHX .I'd go with a darker color.. the earwax won't show up as much :)

  • @tigerpause444 well not if u clean ears lol

  • what kind of motorbike do you have

  • @JAMIE17696 ... 05 R1 with race baffles in stock pipes.. but hella loud!

  • @tigerpause444 nice i alwayes wanted an R1 but im only 14 so i have a little longer to wait :P

  • @JAMIE17696 ... I started with a 600.. then upped to a 750 (best bike ever), then progressed to the R1.. they were all used bikes.. I recommend following a similar path.. best of luck to you when you're of age..

    stay col

    tigerpause

  • if u stick them all the way in ur ear ITS AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!! it likepounds ur head

  • @HawksStanleyCup88 ... glad to know you found them too.. they are the best!
