When I heard this sermon I finally had to walk away. He has become the fundamentalist preacher that he himself loathes. The one that screams in self righteousness at the sin out there while acting as if he himself is the example. He should not say "How dare you?" He should say "How dare we?" He himself has admitted that he did these things to his wife before they were married. A little humility would have been very powerful.. but then this hypocrite would not have won the fundamentalist crowd.

But he's not addressing sin as a whole in this sermon, he's addressing a specific struggle, one which he openly admitted he at one point struggled with, yet doesn't anymore. Truth is bold. I uploaded it because the message was good, more people need to hear this truth, and to try and break peoples stereotyped views of "christians". We are not all like Osteen and the like...

You are right on both accounts.

This is very disturbing . . . it was meant to be. If you are not disturbed by sin then you don't understand how awful it is nor to you really understand God's righteous wrath.

Further, this is not good Christian preaching, this is great Christian preaching. As a preacher myself, I am inspired to tell the truth plainly, while still expressing love (as Driscoll did).
