It's from the Random Event Update. Shade Randoms were one of the many removed completely, so they put the Shades there because they drop the Shade Robe Top and Shade Robe Bottom. Not good for exp though, it's 1/16 the normal exp, 1 exp per 4 damage, as opposed to the normal 4 exp per 1 damage.
