@Eddcano09 They attached a steel rope to the car's bottom, to save the driver if the car should break out sideways. It was used to let him slowly back down to where he started ;)

@rustam88chechen Der 4,2-l-Motor war 1986 noch gar nicht da. Audi hatte gerade erst mit der Entwickling des V8 begonnen (mit zunächst 3,5 l). Der 100 CS hatte einen 2,1-l-Turbomotor (Fünfzylinder).

the ramp is made up of a small sheet of hardpack snow followed by plywood. The tires have quarter inch spikes in them. Probably not as hard as they make it out to be, but certainly no walk in the park. Oh and that safety wire on the car was no assisting, it was for safety purposes only.
