I heard this song on the radio a few weeks ago and was very glad to hear it since I hadn't heard it in ages but was very confused because when it used to play back in the day I remember it being Alex Band, but I like a lot of Nickelback's stuff and I knew that this was Chad Kroeger. I had no idea there were two versions of the song. I actually like them both equally because I like the other guys voice as well, but from what I've been reading I think most people prefer this version.

The reason why you can't find chad kroeger's version on itunes is b-cause chad only recorded this song for inclusion on Santana's 2002 CD "Shamen" only. Santana's record company, Arista Records wanted 2 also release a single version of it, but b-cause Nickelback's record company Roadrunner Records wz in the process of releasing "The Long Road," they denied Arista Records' request 2 include Chad on the single version, which is why Chad recomended Santana re-record it with Alex Band instead.
