I'd be curious to see how much if any real performance this hood adds. The opening is pretty small and low. Seems like it will have the same issues as the ram air on the '03-'04 Mach I. They don't really kick in until about 80+ mph because they are not high enough in the air stream. This hood looks completely bad ass though.

The color is called "Lizstick Red" and is a Saleen color named after Steve Saleen's wife, Liz. I have this motor in my car and it makes 722 HP. I am still working on getting the hood. It is completely functional, and the air is routed through the hood into the CAI box.

thats exatly the piont ...when you run a ram air or blower your getting more air then coming form the wheel well...because of the air coming off the hood

I have one & it is all that it is advertised to be. The butterflies are functional under throttle or with the key on they will open by pressing the accelerator pedal. Very great product Techco developed.

The TECHCO hood feeds through a channel into their 100mm cold air kit, which features a solid billet venturi and air tube. Typically, the air has to come from underneath and make it into the airbox, but this creates another route for cold air to get to the intake.

My car has 722.5/578 RWHP (stock Automatic) but I don't have this hood just yet. It is a Techco hood, so SMS has to get it from them...
