As a Wiccan High Priest and inter-faith minister, I do not put anyone else's path or religion down. How many Christians could tell this exact story about their conversion to Wicca? I'd bet there are even "experts" who would talk about the inherent evil in believing in Christianity and the risks to children about that belief system.
