Ugh. I read the first book because I knew nothing about the series and a friend recomended it. Frankly, it was garbage. The structure was lacking, the plot was underdeveloped, the characters were generic and the entire ordeal made me want to mutilate my friend. I read the first four pages of the book. I couldn't read anymore of it. First of all she seems to have decided to use the thesaurus at random areas to try and sound smarter by using more advanced vocabulary. Secondly the sentence structures were terrible. Thirdly, It unsuccessfully draws you in and makes you connect with the charachters.

PS Only reason I read it was so people couldn't have the "Read the books excuse."
