@xgotfiveonitx Bollywood's reach is 5 billion people. That's twice the reach of Hollywood. Google it for more. Very few people in Asia and Africa watch Hollywood films (and those continents constitute for more than half of the world's population).

@aishwaryaraifan1 yet china is too busy pirating and bootlegging hollywood movies. hollywood is dubbed in virtually every language imaginable, the same cant be said for bollywood. hollywood movies are found in any movie theater in europe and latin america, in their native languages. the same cant be said for bollywood, neither is bollywood dubbed in spanish. ole'!

@xgotfiveonitx Of course there are exceptions! Bollywood is more famous with subtitles than being dubbed. And Bollywood movies are mostly watched in DVDs because BW is not as rich as HW. Do you know ticket prices in Hollywood are 12 times more than what a Bollywood movie charges in India? Obviously there will be difference in finance and hence the distribution. But off late, Bollywood movies are picking up!

@aishwaryaraifan1 ya i do know the price of a movie ticket in america because i live here, its $10. funny they charge the same to watch a bollywood movie too, though only desis go and watch them. most bollywood movies are cheap rip off's of american movies, and thats why i refuse to watch them, it insults my intelligence. i would rather watch the original.
