WOW! what an awesome hunter! shooting a deer with a high powered rifle and a sniper scope from a mile away...you are da man! Go pick up a bow and show me your skills mr sniper
@alpahromeo1987 Thank you for watching my video. Please check out my channel for some great muzzleloader and bow hunts from the great state of Iowa. Good luck this season!!!
@alpahromeo1987 I don't know if you're one... but it seams most of the bow hunters who talk trash about rifle hunters, should put down the compound bow and pick up a recurve or long bow and lets see how good you really are. The modern rifle came out way before the compound. Rifles haven't changed much over the last 100 plus years. Unlike bows which have come along way. We all hunt and enjoy our own method of doing so, can't we all get along
@McLarenDriver Well, my bad. The impact looked like a gut shot. I just drove up to KS to do some deer hunting myself. Walked out to my families barn and spotted a few in the field. The spot I have picked out should have me set up for a 400 yard shot. I'll be using 6.5 Creedmoor.
@DallasfuckingTT wrote, "@alpahromeo1987 It was only 200 yards away. Shitty part was he missed it the first time, then gut shot it the second time."
While it's clear you're trying to impress "alpharomeo1987" for whatever reason, it would be a lot more impressive if you had even the slightest clue what you were talking about. The kill shot is clearly a through-and-through lung shot - you can even see the blood bubble when he slightly presses next to the exit hole.
@alpahromeo1987 You are a dumbass. 200 yards is a chip shot with a rifle in the hands of a capable shooter. I kill game with a muzzleloader at that distance. Sniper scope??? You must be on drugs. Get a clue before you spew your BS idiot.
Nice doe! I love the footage I just wish u would of taken a little more time to Correct for wind and elevation. U are lucky to even have a second shot. But I know the feeling of adrenaline and it's hard to be 110% , but it's usually a requirement for a hunter. I love how a huge meal of venison will bring family and friends together to enjoy the deer and hard work of the hunter and talks of how the hunter took his harvest..
Do you get strange looks for hunting with your m1a cause folks give me crap for hunting with my H&K 91 or draco AK47 pistol and when im hunting up to 100 yards i use a glock 10mm.
@McLarenDriver truly perfect shot, it's crazy how long it took her to drop down...it just tells you how though these animals are...I assume it's 308 that you shoot, what brand bullet do you shot?I hunt NE Missouri not too far from Iowa line that kind of monster does you see only in the midwest, a lot of good food for them to get fat haha
@McLarenDriver cool, I hunt with model 70 winchester in 30-06 and autoloader R25 in .243 win but my friend owns among bunch of other rifles M1A and he speaks the world of it... very nice tool...where about in Iowa you hunt?
@saujeger1 There are many guns that are better than mine. Enjoying hunting with what you have is what counts. I hope you also have fun with your Blaser R93. Good luck.
nice shooting! thanks for posting your video. Will show it to my kids they all love to deer hunt.

@DallasfuckingTT that was not a gut shot. Watch my video How to field dress a deer. and you will see this deer was shot through both lungs.

@saujeger1
I can kill a deer with one shot from a $110 .410 bolt shotgun.
Its all about shot placement, not "quality of gun".
Rabiesthecat 11 months ago
@saujeger1 No gun is better than another its what you want to use and what works for you who cares what you have and how much it cost like your r93.
