Actually, the native Americans weren't completely vegan, they were omnivores. But they did have a lot more respect for nature's flora and fauna, and they ate far, FAR less meat than we do.... something that we could learn from. :)

Actually, the native Americans weren't completely vegan, they were omnivores. But they did have a lot more respect for nature's flora and fauna, and they ate far, FAR less meat than we do.... something that we could learn from. :)

While Choctaws were MOSTLY vegetarian, in times of scarcity (like winter) they would occasionally eat meat to survive. That's not true vegan. That's mostly vegetarian, like I said.
