Hi, I was wondering if you could say somethin about the action of your guitar? I just got a new guitar and I am learning to play it, but I find it difficult to press down an individual string, especially with my middle finger. I noticed that the string are quite high above the fret board, I'd say it's about 3 to 3,5 mm at around the 12th fret. I'd like to find out how your guitar is adjusted. Thanks for all the good lessons!
@bigbattenberg oh well did you buy that guitar ? Well always when you buy a guitar you have to make sure that strings are as low as possible because some guitars have different adjustments. But you could change your strings, maybe you can get them better that way. But my tip is that you always have to feel the guitar when buying it. Some musicians are spending days in the music shop and playing instruments and picking the one that fits them the most. good luck.
Slow/sloppy transition back to the tonic. If you can't do it then how likely is it that the people you are trying to teach can? Perhaps an alternate voicing is called for?
thanks :)
