As always , the Ventures never impressed me at all. If you compare them to the Shadows, the Ventures sound like garage band. I really do not like them at all

Seriously, "Reflections in a palace lake" is like impossible to get a hold of. Why is that? Got it on vinyl, but that's about it.

It's on a compilation album called "Alive Five-O". It's a live performance, with Gerry McGee on the lead. He's particularly good with this song.

It's also all over their Japanese albums. Try to get "Pops In Japan", I think its on that one too.  Plus there's the version with lyrics, covered by scores of Japanese singers and found in karaoke bars all over east Asia.
