Great vlog, Kev! I want to add another thought. Several friends complained about not getting good VR support. I would ask them if they came up with a business plan. Most of them said they haven't made one. Usually, VR is more impressed when their clients come up with a business plan in getting a job whether through college, vocational training or other job learning experiences. You're right, to do the first step is to go for it and start! Then, next step is making a business plan! :)
I completely agree with you regarding clients writing a solid business plan for VR support in several aspects. I believe that lot of people are just being wishy-washy writing impressive business plans but are too afraid to actually do the task.
