I was in the same situation. There's a breed of cats called the Siberian Forrest Cat, which doesn't cause allergic reactions. Apparently, only like 1/100 or less people are allergic to them. My parents still have a siberian forrest cat running around in their appartment and they have no allergic symptoms what so ever.
400 euros for a kitten, if it's really really really pure-bred. It's best to visit a cattery breeding siberians to see if they affect you, and if not, pick up a little bundle of love and give it a good, loving home. :)
