Living in Beaufort, SC

I lived there for 6 years stationed at the MCAS. My most favorite place on the earth!!!! I miss Beaufort so bad. Live here in crappy Pittsburgh, PA and you'll know why Beaufort is so special!!!!!

I just re-watched the movie Conrack starring Jon Voight based on the life of author Pat Conroy and part of the movie took place in Beaufort....so gorgeous! Looks like a wonderful place to live!

I was in Beaufort the early part of October 2008. I was there for Marine graduation.

What a GREAT place! The people were so friendly. I had an EXCELLENT time I spent there. I would LOVE to move to relocate to Beaufort.

Beaufort is a beautiful place but it is also excruciatingly hot and humid in the summer and traffic on the narrow streets. It is a also a day trip to Hilton Head and Savannah or Charleston.
