I test rode a GSXR1000 and if you looked at the throttle the front was in the air.I weigh 63 kilos so that litre bike was a very scary to ride.Settled on a GSXR750 and I could breathe a little easier.Wasnt as nervous for me..Suzuki rules!

how much of a difference in speed and power are there in this bike and the 600?

Totally different bike when it comes to power and torque. The feel is more similar to a 1000cc, but the power is more manageable with the 750cc.

I have always wanted to buy a gsxr 750 from model 1 up to now. My first response to this was: Why? The bike is not nearly as pretty as the old k7 model. Why? Why change? I am rather gona spend my cash on last years model and with the money I save from the price drop I can do a heap of mods. Then its going to be faster and much prettyer.

The 06 and 07 are same design. But hate the 08s. They are ugly. The headlight, tail light, and the brake light and exhaust. LOL guess I dont like the whle thing.

2008 seems to be the year of the dog ugly exhaust. Strange as the 07 model already met euro 3 regs so why they've bolted on something that looks like it fell off an old MZ mystifies me.

Looks alright but not awesome. K3/K71000's look better. Lot's of haters of the looks of these things but they always seem to grow on people as the years go by. I remember the Hayabusa launch way back and everybody hated them at the time. You would have never thought it would become such a classic. Granted the power and speed had a little to do with it.

Went to the N.E.C. in Birmingham to see the new K8 over the weekend. It looks ugler in the flesh dont anyone tell me otherwise unless you seen it too. Even the Suzuki reps agreed off the record. New blade isnt so bad up close do, which surprised me. As I say roll on the K10.

I agree. I have a k3 thou. much cleaner looking than this new bike. I'd rather spend a few grand upgrading the braking and suspension of my gixx than buy one of the new ones. ugly. the k5/6 thous were the last of the good looking zooks so far
