Multiple interpretations/meanings of a song is a sign of a lyrical genius. Whatever any of AIC songs mean to you is OK. If you do any research into the band's history, especially the lead singer, Layne Staley, and read the lyrics as you listen to the songs you will understand the songs much better. I warn you, though, Layne's story is a sad one, and you will feel his pain when listening to much of his singing. My advice is just enjoy it! It is the best music of ANY genre! RIP Layne, we miss you!
