Dax has his moments. But he really does talk too much in this game. Naughty Dog used Dax as a secret weapon for when cut scenes get boring. In this... well he gives the most obvious advice, more than once... Even when your doing what he says to do, he still says it. High impact really took a shit on this game.

I dunno, I feel kinda bad for High Impact. I mean, they try their best to port some of the most beloved PS2 properties to PSP, and even though they usually do pretty well in their own right, they have a difficult time living up to the console versions (which nearly always happens with a handheld game). So, because of this, High Impact is constantly shat upon if their game doesn't live up to the console installment, giving them a bad rep. I dunno, like I said, I feel bad for them.

I mostly agree with you but Ready at Dawn did a great job with each game they did so I dunno. Still I liked Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters. Secret Agent clank was not very good though since I don't think a Ratchet and Clank type game was meant for stealth. and this game doesn't seem bad based off of the demo.

No, but there's a city in the game, you go to ONCE, and when you hit people, they duck for a second, then go back to what they were doing a second before. No Haven, no Freedom fighters (Krimson Guards)

Well, the Hero mode thing, If you beat the final boss, after the creds, it asks you about the hero mode. If you say no, you have to fight the boss, AGAIN. And, if you say yes, it restarts your game, with all weopons and armor. NO LEVEL SELECT. GAME SHOULD OF ONLY BEEN ON PSP. Why? becuase the graphics on psp are the same on the ps2 which is sad. It's not really good, sorry to say.

But, if you want to continue the story, buy the game. Daxter is REALLY funny in this.

I played the demo recently, and its looking really good. No sign of dark jak.

However, daxter POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT gets covered in dark eco and turns into dark daxter and then these fairly uninspired, werehog like beat em up levels take place. The core platforming is still decent though. And those complaining about the aiming should just get it for the ps2, which has another analog stick

It's possible to outrun the lurker shark by jumping repeatedly while high on blue eco in Jak 1.
