I remember talking to this one WW2 US Army veteran from the US 120th Infantry Regiment. He said during the periods of August 7-12, 1944, in Normandy, US troops asked for RAF to strafe German forces. Then all the sudden, the US troops was attacked daily by the RAF. He witnessed nine US soldiers killed when their two Sherman tanks were taken out by rocket-firing RAF Typhoons. Despite friendly signals, the RAF took them out!

@elgoain9 Actually the US has little or none friendly fire like this because they are the ones building up the new army structure in Afghanistan. Considering the US has about 100x the troops in Afgan (1/100th of its total military strength) and countries like the UK, Germany, etc. have less than 100 troops in Afganistan (enough to fill a couple little tent camps), this proportions out to much more considering the 'tiny/nonexistant' role that weaker countries play in the war.
I'm just saying, just because it's not exactly that number, the smaller role that some countries play proportions out, so when something like this happens at the same amount as US troops which have literally 18x the troop count, then maybe you should not be so quick criticize the US who still seem to be leading in just about everything from war/defense, technology, food, cultural diversity, government structure, and.. well.. do I have to say more?

I remember talking to this one WW2 US Army veteran from the US 120th Infantry Regiment. He said during the periods of August 7-12, 1944, in Normandy, US troops asked for RAF to strafe German forces. Then all the sudden, the US troops was attacked daily by the RAF. He witnessed nine US soldiers killed when their two Sherman tanks were taken out by rocket-firing RAF Typhoons. Despite friendly signals, the RAF took them out!
Friendly fire and civilian casualties are part of war. War is hell.

Considering the US has about 100x the troops in Afgan (1/100th of its total military strength) and countries like the UK, Germany, etc. have less than 100 troops in Afganistan (enough to fill a couple little tent camps), this proportions out to much more considering the 'tiny/nonexistant' role that weaker countries play in the war.

The report could also provide the U.S. with an excuse to step up the pressure on Germany to give in to American military demands for deployment of German troops and use of German military equipment in the case of a military attack on Iraq.

Last summer, he called Merkel to persuade her to pull the plug on the Hamburg-based European-Iranian trade bank, an entity that was sanctioned by the U.S. Treasury Department because of its involvement in Iran’s illicit nuclear-proliferation and ballistic-missile program. Merkel simply snubbed Obama.

Rumsfeld might have met with Saddam, but that was because he was telling Saddam that we would give him information on Iranian troop movements, since Iran just kidnapped our embassy personnel and declared war on us at the same time. I already addressed that. Europe was the one who sold Saddam all of his weapons at that time, including under UN sanctions, AFTER the Iran/Iraq war was over! How was what we did a BAD thing? We stopped the war, after Saddam punched Iran in the face. Name me one weapon that the USA sold to Iraq. Just one. You really are dumber than shit.
