when i hear this song it makes me think of my marriage and my exhusband. i didn't realize how lonely you could be when you were with someone. this song is awesome and it says it all!!! very true to life. thanks reba for all you do for all of us!!! you are my hero and i love ya for it!!!
Hey Cyndy22, you should post the award segment they showed just before Reba sings. I remember watching this CMA 40th Anniversary show way back in like '98/'99. They showed Reba winning the 1984, 1985, 1986 & 1987 Female Vocalist of the Year and the 1986 Entertainer of the Year.
I love Wrong Night. Very few songs have staying power these days, they pump the new music out so quickly and people have incredibly short attention spans.
This is one my favorite Reba songs! And this was the only time ( I believe) that she performed this song. It was off the If You See Him album and was going to be the new single, but MCA pulled it at the last minute and released "Wrong Night" instead, personally, I like this song better!

Dang, Reba is buff! And that is a great dress.
I think this would've been a better single than "Wrong Night" - better staying power. You neve hear "Wrong Night" anymore.
