Clyde Drexler was a great, great basketball player. A Hall of Famer. A Dream Teamer. 2nd best player in the NBA at the time. And with one game, Jordan more or less destroyed Clyde's reputation.

As a Blazer fan, I knew how good Clyde was. This game showed me that Jordan was the G.O.A.T.

Clyde Drexler was not even the 2nd best player in this finals match up...Scottie Pippen was. Just going by the regular season stats you could see that...Drexler scored more points...less efficiently, but Pippen was the far superior defensive player. Blazers never had a chance when the two best players in this series were on the Bulls...

This game is the what separates Jordan from every other player who ever played.
Clyde Drexler was a great, great basketball player. A Hall of Famer. A Dream Teamer. 2nd best player in the NBA at the time. And with one game, Jordan more or less destroyed Clyde's reputation.
He didn't just assassinate Clyde. He killed his family and moved into his house. Figuratively speaking.
As a Blazer fan, I knew how good Clyde was. This game showed me that Jordan was the G.O.A.T.

Clyde and Scottie were more similar than Clyde and MJ in many ways. Both were PGs in SF bodies. They were probably the two best athletes in the NBA at the time, in terms of speed, quickness and leaping ability. Neither were great outside shooters, but could hit big 3s. Clyde was an under-rated defender and a much better pure scorer than Scottie.

Explosiveness, acceleration, change of direction and quickness, vertical leap, two footed jumping, finishing in transition, and even peak speed MJ was the best by a pretty wide margin. Clyde might be close in one footed jumping and even pure speed might be close too, but other than that it's a wash. Scottie wasn't as athletic as either of them, though he was still amazingly athletic.

@boredfun91: they were all pretty close, but Clyde's top speed was faster than Jordan's, and he was bigger and stronger. He could cover more ground in a shorter amount of time than MJ, and his leaping ability was nearly as great.
Scottie was like Clyde in his speed and ability to cover ground, but he wasn't as strong. He was every bit as good a leaper, however.
MJ had a higher vertical leap and better coordination and balance. He was also very quick, but his top speed wasn't as fast.

@rob23molina How? Please explain how ripping your teammate can make him better? Someone like dirk and lebron who encourage there teammates by saying we need them and we need them to play at a high level. Where mj simply says the other players on the team are here to make me better, thats a leader? When kobe pulled that shit the next year he asked for a trade away from la cause guess what he cant make people better then what they really are, all you can do is compliment one anothers game.
