Hey just a tip for ya, If you paint another body, back your bodies with metallic silver it makes the colors "pop" alot more than white. Plus metallic silver has actual metal shavings in it so i really protects your paint job good. It also covers up any paint spots that are a little thin and makes them look really shiny. Hope this helps! :)

@mxr416 Nice. I purchased some after market blue components for the undercarriage but have yet to install them. I'm just waiting to use them as replacement parts.

@mxr416 go with rpm plastic they are easy to replace and if your brushed aluminum will weigh you down. Plastic is alot lighter and just about as durable.

here's my advice for painting anything. the most important part of the white is not just to act as a "primer" of sorts but it also helps the color you use appear much more uniform. with the transparent shell, the blue will have a black undertone due to the chassis being black but it will have different brightness levels based on how close the body is to the chassis at any given point. so the white cancels that out and keeps everything much more uniform. hope i helped!

stripes is good idea, and the wheel cases(or how you call them) give them a cabalt blue color , and the rest black .. so you have the outer part of the wheel cases blue. and let it flow in some kind of way over the door panel's(fade to black)

if there are places for backlights and front lights , definatly paint them with red or white.

a V stripe on the hood is also a good idea

but these are my opinions , do what you want =)

Small tip trying to watch this video in 480p and youtube stream was to slow. Had to down grade to 360p. I'm think YouTube did not mirror the 480p on more servers yet.
