This is a message to people who own a tamagotchi v4, v4.5, v5, v6 or v7 and want to debug it

DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!!!!!

Reason why: if you debug a v4 or higher, You Can't choose your character or gender, all it will do is go super fast and you won't be able to control the character. So all you can do is watch it be born, get older and die!!!!, you can't do nything with it if you debug it. Trust me, i debbugged my v4 and now it's unusable

but thats wh7y u cant or shouldnt debug a 4.5 or 5 cause it just messes it up only 1-3 can be debbugged

Australian and european tamagotchi's don't have a debug function. At least on this version. If you have a Japanese tamagotchi, there should be 2 little blocks over the word debug. Oh, that's a v1 tamagotchi. I debugged mine, and those exact characters appeared.

So that you won't break your tama, you can also take out the reset button on the back to choose the life speed whenever you want, instead of it being hyperactive all the time. You are still able to reset, by poking a pencil on the reset slot. But taking out the reset button and putting it on the debugger enables you to choose when you want speedy life.

PS- You will have to scrape away some plastic to put the reset button on the debug button; it is covered by plastic.

I debugged mine, but I didn't get to choose the character I wanted.

Instead I got hyper speed, haha.

Debugging is stupid. it takes the whole point and fun out of the game. Plus it can break your Tamagotchi. Now is trying to get a hamburger character worth breaking a Tamagotchi? No...

Undebug, repeat all the steps but erase the pencil marks.

First, Unscrew the back, then unscrew the smaller screws, then you should see a debug circle (If your tama is american) then, get a pencil and colour in the button grey, Put it back together, Reset, then press A to choose characters. :P
