  • True Blood brought me here.

  • @carolinacpoynter

    Manson brought me here.

  • Manson is fucking amazing no matter what he does!!! love the video...

  • love the vid you chose to go along with this song!!! Just watched it in my film class not too long ago.

  • WTH is a Mormon? I know its a branch of Christianity, but what exactly is it?

  • Great use of Caligari. Such a cool film, and you mixed it and the song perfectly. Thanks. (Film student or just good taste? lol) Peace.

  • @Gwid01 I am guessing good taste simply because he refers to the film as "very old". A film student is more anal about years attached to films; I should know. Still, never the less, a great video! Great song and great film to boot!

  • The Cabin in the Woods Trailer

  • late night sex music

  • Does everybody realise that this is a cover of Screamin' Jay Hawkins?

  • i like it mafacker

  • this is fuckng genius

  • I think you should be proud of this video.

  • this is the shit

  • LINDSAY ROSS : I'm going to do fucked up African voodoo on you tonight and then sing this song. You are MINE, and I don't care if you want me.

COME to the Almighty Jesse Hardy...... Uh huh huh huh huh...

  • The girl was hot is it jb?

  • well done my friend

  • MM always make the cover songs his own, often the darker versions make the originals sound better the MM way, even though he covers some of my favorite songs, I end up preferring the MM version, such as Tainted Love, Sweet Dreams & this one, to name a few. Most cover versions people try too hard to make them sound like the original--in some cases that's a good thing, like Pink Floyd--but the best versions are when a band makes the song in their own style or interpretation. IMHO anyway :)

  • @gmj2012 queer, your opinion is shit

  • @esphyxx Queer? A homophobe huh? What does expressing one's opinion have to do with being queer? Interesting that you revealed your own issues by projecting them on to someone else, so now we all know your secret longing for men...

  • @gmj2012 you oold lonely and miserable, go fuck yourself and hopefully kill yourself while you at it, pathetic waste of life

  • @esphyxx Nigga, put down the Haterade. That's how you roll nigga? Nigga, you listen to fuckin' Skrillex and you callin' some other nigga gay? I got pictures of dicks straighter than that motherfucker-- you don't get to call niggas "queer". Dude, you don't even get to have an opinion-- good or bad. And "kill yo'self"? Bitch, cats been rockin' that shit since George Clinton. Come with some fresh shit next time.

  • @Asreyser i have no idea what you just said

  • Comment removed

  • @gmj2012 Sooooo TRUE!

  • @gmj2012 'Tainted Love' I prefer Soft Cell and the original by Gloria Jones but agreed Manson's cover is still a good one. Same with 'Sweet Dreams', makes it his own but noth it and the original are great ! ! :D

  • If you have seen 2 million that's not your video but the song

  • Hey I agree with SpunkyLamb :)

  • love this. goes perfectly well.

  • I freaking love his voice!!! so sexy ;D

  • "Not something to be proud of",you say?

This should be the ORIGINAL MUSIC VIDEO!!!

  • people were telling me, mm does it only money, never believed any of these jerks, for me hes got THE message 4 the people

  • Who directed that movie, and is it on Netflix? :D

  • @BillaKittyXD Robert Wiene was the director. Yes, it is on Netflix, and also it is in available in the Streaming Videos feature. Great movie if you ask me. There are some twists that makes it worth watching.

  • @BillaKittyXD the movie is called "Cabinet of Dr. Caligari" and its a freaky German silent movie from the 1920s. Manson's music would make an indeed incredible soundtrack to it :)

  • This song bring me remember about Led Zeppelin and Crowleys's phyloshophy of life "Do what thou will"

  • super bueno

  • One sticks one’s finger into the soil to tell by the smell in what land one is: I stick my finger in existence — it smells of nothing. Where am I? Who am I? How came I here? What is this thing called the world? What does this world mean?

Who is it that has lured me into the world? Why was I not consulted, why not made acquainted with its manners and customs instead of throwing me into the ranks, as if I had been bought by a kidnapper, a dealer in souls?

  • Actually, the Living Dead Girl video was inspired by the Cabinet of Dr. Caligari. jsyk.

  • I love this song.

  • The best Manson cover imo. Better than sweet dreams, rock n roll nigga or personal jesus.

  • @ashadeofnight Tainted Love is good too.

  • i love marylin manson songs but i hate him video clips

    +1

  • whooh, i never would think this particular song would get 2.5Mill+ views

  • The Cabinet of Dr Calligari, think I spelled that right. One of the first horror films.

  • this has got to be the coolest fan made video Ive ever seen...its freaking perfect

  • You deserve all these views. This video is so great! I've watched it a number of times, myself...

    Cheers...

  • never been a manson fan, this is bad ass, the song the colaboration, Im 34 so Im just a few years older than most of the kids who loved MM. I'm the Metallica Gen genx I call the younger MM fabs gen Y but still this is awesome gotta give credit where due. 5*s

  • thumbs up if you think that after listening to this song you want to hunt justin beiber and stuck her like a pig!!

  • @RobinVanPersie0287

I dont like to see JB's name @ all Rock/Metal video...His name is so unappropriate to the comment sector of this kind of song....

  • 370 people who are wrong.

  • I believe you did a great job, the reason why people is telling you this look like living dead girl by Rob Zombie is because that video is a tribute to the movie you used (Cabinet of Dr. Caligari)

    Good luck, and great video

  • calihan? i believe it is the cabinet of dr. caligheri

  • Ive fapped to it.

  • Note that this Vid at the end is the same as Rob zombies living dead girl lol

  • Das Cabinet des Dr. Caligari 1920+Mason Put a spell on u= fucking awsome feeling

  • holy shit, nice video, mother fucker, thanks!

  • Back when I liked him.. Nostalgia.

  • Rob Zombie's video for Living Dead Girl is inspired by Das Cabinet des Dr. Caligari, an iconic silent movie from 1920, the exponent of the german expressionist film school.

  • This song is the same that I put a pell on you by Betle Midler?

  • @7veemon it's I put a Spell on You by Screamin' Jay Hawkins

  • he does do some fucking great covers !!

  • I've never been into the whole gothic scene but I fucking love Manson's older music.

  • The video suits this song so well! Good job!

  • Freakishly bezerk. This dude has serious mental problems!

  • This is good. There's something about the original though that the covers don't have. Idk what it is...

  • WOW BEST VIDEO REALLY GOES WELL TOGETHER

  • i was watching tv and The secret cirlce advert came on and i was like... wait is that? YES!!! :D

  • First the Holby City advert, now The Secret Circle advert...love this tune :3

  • DUDE at 0:45 and on, that had to have been fucked up for the time period.

  • 365 people have a hex put on them!

  • The camera shutter CREEPS ME OUT ... I love it!

  • Seems like everyone who has done this song has put their own spin on it.......

  • lol.u people fuckin rule, share the same taste in movies AND music

  • Oh kickass, Dr. Caligari. One of my favorite movies.

  • @CathMar3 I love you.

  • the high pitch guitar sounds reminds me of the solo on sweet dreams

  • The old man at the beginning freaked me out and I immediately wanted nothing more than for him to not come any closer.

  • thank you jay hawkins

  • This is one of the songs that MADE Smells Like Children. But, AntiChrist Superstar was a better album.

  • Wow

  • This was the perfect movie to sync with this song! The Somnambulist! Great example of German expressionism in film.

  • I have to give it to manson, he does some swesome covers

  • @TXejas19 he always does :3 <3 <3 <3 Marilyn Manson :3

  • @TXejas19 swesome?

  • @Puppetmaster5434 yea you never heard the word swesome before? you can't say it out loud though, it has voodoo powers

  • @TXejas19 Is swesome a mix between awesome and sweet?

  • @RetroFarmer69 yea, but I think I should have put the extra 'e' from sweet, I fear some people might not have understood my hybrid word.

  • @TXejas19 DW, It's a nice word.

  • @RetroFarmer69 lol well bless your heart and thank you

  • I'll take a spell from MM any day.

  • I accidentally muted the video......worst 5 seconds of my life!!! D:

    the Cabinet of Doctor Caligari

  • Marilyn Manson has put a spell on me . I have 200 gigs of music . I have a special folder devoted to just him . I have everything he has ever wrote .

  • Losy Highway = best soundrack ever!

  • Lost Highway brought me here.

That movie's really not helping my mental stability. :D

  • genial! amo esa cancion ♥

  • Jk... This friggin roxXxors ur soxXxors!

  • Oh the shame... o.0

  • damn i even like lady gaga better than this freak show

  • @INTRxTyler I pity you .

  • This is a song that you send to someone whom you truly love. But it has to be someone you want to spend your life with and die with, otherwise they'll run away and call the cops.

  • I don't like or dislike, love, hate or worship this song. It's not very high velocity for Marilyn Manson's screaming though it's loud enough. The words are lacking in intensity, it's just plain boring, only OK to be honest.

  • I Put a Spell on You - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"I Put a Spell on You" is a 1956 song written by Screamin' Jay Hawkins, whose recording was selected as one of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's 500 Songs ...

  • Screamin Jay Hawkins did this song in the fiftys Nina did later I do think Screamin Jay Hawkins wrote this but iam not sure but he did make it Popular ck out Utube vids of him

  • Old Man Lmao !

  • Thats cool you used this clip but didnt Rob Zombie use this clip in one of his videos??? Actually I dont think he used the video i think he did a remake of it in "Living Dead Girl" but I could be wrong considering I am posting without making sure.

  • Great wedding song... manson style

  • Seriously people think this was the one by Rob Zombie??? Have they ever even seen that video??? Fuck me, but thats hard to mistake this for that and vice versa! This is by far creepier and more weird and awesome!!! I mean, its from an actual fucking movie and not something made up to just look that way. I would have gotten scared shitless watching this if it were back in the day. From 2:46 to 3:07 is just crazy *shudders*. Awesome work my friend! Awesome work indeed!!!

  • @JaniceGhostHunter13 I have to disagree, it's not gargoyle, flashy type modern, and fucked up enough, Marilyn can do better.

  • @Hoobifta Hmmm.... maybe you're right, but I still love this reguardless :)

  • anything that manson sings is fantastic fuck u all who dont think so

  • heheh, love it but i wonder how many of you even know who did "the original".

  • @gabergum PAUL ANKA WROTE THE SONG, FRANK SINATRA MADE POPULAR, TO ME THE BEST VERSION IS BY NINA SIMONE!! :)) EVEN DO I THINK MANSON DID A FANTASTIC JOB WITH THIS REMAKE.

  • ccr is the best version but this is good

  • WAY better than the original

  • of all the covers manson has done this far the best

  • crap

  • Manson is a genius, I would have him play at my wedding as well :-) if i could afford it!

  • I like your work Misery, and I recognise the movie, and Rob Zombie had the sets built for Living dead girl, sharing our interest in Dr. Caligari.

  • Diamanda Galas original!

  • No wear near good as the original Screamin' Jay Hawkins. What a embarrassment this is!!!

  • @1991RubenV I agree, SJH and Nina Simone's versions are the best, in my opinion. But everyone has their opinions. :D.

  • to each his or her own , but screaming jay should be screaming!

  • Excellent job!

  • AK KA KA!!!! lol i love that part

  • Now that was cool.Live like a suicide your fukn crazy

  • @Jonhey995

    Why are u here ?

  • @Jonhey995 I agree. Comes nowhere close to Screamin' Jay Hawkins' version.

  • The clips go really well with the song.

    Job well done!

  • PS the movie clips work really well - good job!

  • I like this version!

  • Its really funny, my mum isnt too fond of marilyn manson, or too fond of me listening to him, but when i showed her this she was really impressed - she liked the cover and thought the video went perfectly with it! :)

    i <3 <3 <3 it :) x

  • 2 nejlepší verze hned po creedence

  • haha! Cabinet of Dr Caligheri... nice.

  • the first 7 seconds of the song is a sample of something from "Texas Chainsaw Massacre"

  • @joaniecheriezz Yes its the sound of the camera flash bulbs,

  • you say "thank you all so much!" in the video descriptions, did you write or took a part of anything with this song?
