  • Love this game, my brother and I as kids would fight over the PC to play this and Kings Quest VI !! Fantastic soundtrack, the first level music brought back waves of nostalgia. Jazz in da man!

  • @Jesterhead527 errr rabbit...? :D

  • Sluggion... First half of track is matchless

  • Download JazzJackrabbit ROM from any site (google "jazzjackrabit rom)

    Download and install dosbox

Put the JJ rom you just downloaded in C:\JAZZ

    Go into dosbox and write

    mount c "c:\JAZZ\"

    c:

    Write DIR

    Find the .exe

Write the exe in (could be like jazz.exe)

    Voila

  • @Projectlightstyle4 or you could simply drag the JAZZ.exe file onto DOSbox

  • @SuperMariogamer101

Actually didn't know that worked, if it does - thanks :-)

  • the one person who disliked this stuff is a little ****

  • does exist a way to play this game w/music from DOS/DOS-BOX?

i tried both and i ran without music

    ;_;

    pc speaker to the rescue

  • SOMEONE PLEASE direct to a link, or provide instructions so i can play this game on my PC once again. you will be considered a god among men if you do.

  • @IUtrumpetboy

    1/Download DOS-BOX.

2/Download JazzJackrabbit (from any abandonware, retroware, etc.. kind of site)

3/Search on the internet for how to mount folders as devices on Dos-box

4/Install the game on your dos box

    5/have fun.

  • @MonoCabron123

    and the music??

    what must i do to make that shit works?? ;_;

    engrish here

  • @the0hatusa That's kinda weird, music should work. Go and ask on DOS-BOX forums about your problem.

  • somebody pls explain why turtles are bad guys always?

  • @Choppr777 Have you read the classical story of "The Hare And The Tortise"? Jazz Jackrabbit is based on a war between the rabbits and tortises many years in the future because of this story, I think. I read that info from somewhere.

  • @Jemiloke97 tho it sounds really weird, thanks for the answer bro ;)

  • @Choppr777 *cough* *cough* I'm a girl!

  • @Choppr777 And to be precise, the info was from Wikipedia.

  • @Choppr777 Turtles are the enemy BECAUSE of the classic rabbits vs turtles fable. ya kno, the one where the turtle beats the rabbit cuz "slow and steady wins the race". well, this was the Rabbits 'revenge. (at least that was my take on it as a kid)

  • diamondus 9/10

    Sluggion 7/10

    Technoir 8/10

    Tubelectric 8/10

    Turtemple 6/10

  • Hey for all those who read this comment. I have played music at dances. And I got great results when I played Technoir, and tubelectric. Awsome break dancin, got some circles formin. I also recommend medivo from jazz1 and pezrock. A person could make a reggae remix with that and a person could make a rap rimix with scraparap. I have already seen somebody do a reggae remix on diamondus. pretty good actaully

  • Thanks a lot for this series of videos. It means a lot to me. The music spaws some wonderful good-old-childhood-times memories. Cheers.

  • I miss this game...the first time i stood still long enough Jazz did this goofy look and said "What are you doing?".........memories.

  • C'mon Epic! It's not too late! Release a PROPER Jazz 3 on XBLA or something! We still love you!

  • Dat technoir.

  • More Songs please !!! I like it

  • Thaaaaaaanks!!!!

  • Sluggion rocks! I like somewhat lonely feeling the music gives.

  • I couldn't help it, but a giant smile immediately appeared on my face upon hearing the first note in the video. Thanks a lot for putting these up! =)

  • @Arctica97 i hear you dude. This game was awesome when i was a kid. It would be awesome if Epic released these on Xbox Live Arcade, Playstation Network and the Wii Virtual Console.

  • This one is a great opening for a legendary game like this one

  • Technoir, Turtemple, Sluggion are good.

Diamondus and Tubelectric, whoops you know these at JJ2, and I like jj2 format. ;)

  • We need a Jazz Jackrabbit sequel. Something. We need it, and the entire gaming community needs it. Jazz was in a class of his own.

  • @Raventoll there was a Jazz Jackrabbit 2.

  • does anyone know if i can rip this music from youtube and put it on my ipod? I really wish Epic had released a soundtrack for JJ 1 and 2. The music is incredible.

  • Amazing I played this solidly when I was a kid, always loved the soundtrack too!! I remember loving getting to the Sluggion level JUST to hear the music!! LOL thanks for uploading them all :-)

  • Ahhh yes... the good days... my favourite level was technoir by the way? to play jazz jackrabit 1 on new computers you download Dosbox then download the demo for jazz jackrabbit 1 and put in its dos code then put a 1 at the end and you have the full game :]

  • oh god...i miss this game so much,,,i wanna play again...they should release this game for wii

  • gosh i NEED to download this game for nostalgia! that and get these mp3s!

  • with you on that! nostalgia overload!!

  • Ahh...the memories :)

My sister and I played this game when we're both little kids...

    Good times :)

  • same, we literally used to fight over who got to play it

  • @splinter01110 Hey, me to! W used to race each other for high scores and I would grind out on some respawning skeletons and marvel at the awesome music. Such fond memories....

  • @splinter01110 when life was carefree and you could just play a little game or two ;)

  • Tubelectric all the way. Can you imagine when they tell that dude "hey we need some music for this kinda techno level." and he comes back with that. Cliff and that other dude had to have shit their pants. That stuff is golden. Best game music ever by far!

  • Do you mean Arjen whatshisname?

Still I agree with you, the tracks from this game were pure class

  • Brussee... Arjan Brussee.

  • @masterjewell09 In my opinion C&C has the best music ever.

  • it would be awesome if the decided to release this on Xbox live arcade, playstation store and wiiware.

  • I had forgotten the name of the game... but remembered the music... I googled "rabbit computer game" :))

  • And Jazz Jackrabbit was the first result? lol

  • Ever tried dosbox? If u play the game under this dostool u will be able to play the game with full sound....

  • Anyone know where you can download the entire game for free, episodes 1-6? Because when I try to download the game it shows up as shareware and only lets me play epsiode 1.

  • Turtemple has always been my favorite.

  • 10,000th view here!

  • Best soundtrack for a platform I ever heard. It was the main reason I liked this game so much, together with the level design.

Even now is one of my favorite platformers.

  • This game was my one of my favourites games when I was 3.

  • My favourite PC game!:)

I always liked Sluggion, Technoir and from the Cd version: Exoticus, Deserto, Deckstar and Stonar music.:)

  • cant beat tube electric

  • As cool as this game was, I hated having to get a slower computer just to avoid all those runtime errors...

  • Ahhhh esas epocas , un excelente juego , los vicios que me pegue con esto =) , gracias man por haber subido la musica que sin duda es lo mejor del juego , salu2

  • does anybody know where i can find these mp3's? i really like the music

  • note the soundtrack similarity with Unreal/Unreal Tournament

  • No way.

  • well obviously not the first level music. :D And of course both games have different themes. But tubeelectric, or the medieval one for example. Mind you both games are from EPIC. I bet there's at least one person that worked on both of them or they used same or very similar tools to make them...

  • That person's name is Alexander Brandon.

  • he didn't work on jazz 1

  • He did.

  • Alexander worked on some of the sountrack along with Robert A. Allen.

  • I seriously love this game and its soundtracks. It's just GREAT that someone uploaded them here, I just didn't know where to look for them. Thanks a lot!!

P.S: First verison is way better than second (just opinion though)

  • dude turtle temple is awesome!

  • Wow, i've always remembered Tubeelectric as a cool song. This music rocks so much. If only a Metal band could cover it...
