Actually SUN YUE did not have to finish his old contract, you do realize that SUN YUE plays for the ABA which doesn't even pay as much as the minimum that the NBA offers. Not only that, the LAKERS could've bought out SUN YUE if they wanted too. I think you don't understand the NBA rules, even if SUN YUE was given a contract offer..since he was a 2nd rd pick...it's not GUARANTEED!!!!
