@pincle26 I didn't see your first post. In short, no. This is an experiment and all that exists is what you see in this video. At this point I haven't touched the project in a while and I don't even remember the code I changed, the custom scripts I used, or any of that. All I can say is to check out rpgmakervx net because that's where I got most of it.
@Dark666Jay I forget the name now but it's a script I heavily edited. It's not actually a video, it's in fact a slideshow and there are something like 240 images shown at pre-determined intervals.
@TheSupaFro Well take it from me 14 frames isn't going to work well. The system loads the entire image into memory and it just can't cope with too many frames. I had to cut out every other or at times every 2 frames to get it to work as it does. I don't remember exactly where but there's an option in the script to set the number of frames and rows. it's towards the top of the script where you set the additional image files.
It's Sideview Battle System. I just used my own custom graphics in place of the default ones. The system divides an image into rows/colums so to make bigger battlers you just use a bigger image.
The system already exists actually, it's known as Overdrive. I simply didn't add Bankai to the overdrive skill list because I was still trying to get the sprite set change to work correctly.
I made all my sprite sheets by hand from the rips that have been done from the DS games and the sound effects come from the game while the battle music comes from the soundtracks. The battle engine I have been tweaking myself. I have used only what content has already been made public; I have not ripped anyone off.
The project's on hold, at least until archery season is over ^.^ but yes I'm working on putting most of the characters in there. And if you look at my other Bleach submissions, that is the entirety of the game right now. However I'm not rewriting history per se so I don't have to worry about story; I just have to add in what Tite Kubo's written for me pretty much. And no I'm not profiting on this.
You used kaduki script for the animated sprite? or was it the other one? Not bad so far, your using face graphics quite well. looking forward to see how your mapping will be. Id play around with the software some more if you havent been using it for long yet. Im not a fan of bleach but cool job so far I suppose. the animated sprites may be the most appeal you have so far though becuase they are rarely used in RMVX(except for the kaduki ones)
Yeah I'm using Kaduki's SBS script, though I'm ending up writing most of the sequences myself. It's not shown in this test but the death animation used to keep looping because it would trigger every round, so I added a 24 hour delay to the end of it.
You use yanfly engine?

u could create a special points system to trigger the use of bankai cause it would be weird if Ichigo was using Bankai every single battle.
like if Ichigo win battle --> points+1
if points == 100 --> add Attach "Bankai"

Maybe you should use Jump Ultimate Star Sprites it Easier to manage and sprite them than the Fighting DS Version.

To put it frankly, they're very ugly and small. The effects (which I haven't started making sprites of) are also very disappointing.
