@lashaynehampton well for me it depends on what type of hair

if I'm doing thin hair i use method 1 if more thick hair I use method 2

i would like to do this with my natural hair, but i'm not sure how to do it, because my hair is very long, soft and straight .. i'm from croatia (europe), and here we do not have all of the special products for braids .. could i use styling mousse after i braid my hair to fix the braids? or should i use hair gel before i braid them?

@xtrashed Of course, though I can't braid with extensions, I braid my little neices' hair this way since none of them have gotten to the age where we perm their hair. It works the same, extensions is just exactly what the word suggests, to extend the the visible length of the hair. Though I will admit its a little harder to take down since the braids would be thinner

Is it possible to get box braids without showing parting patterns when its in a ponytail? If you look at Axl Rose's box braids, you can google him to see his braids, he has them in a ponytail and you don't see his scalp or partings. Do partings show less when extra hair is added or when its in a ponytail? please reply back , thanks
