  • This game is SO unforgiving, even if you do hack!!!

  • Yup! Fire Emblem. The trolling game that trolls hackers

  • @ChristianDogLover The attack speed formulas are really pretty simple. Take your speed. Now if your weapon weight is bigger than your Con, subtract the difference. Call that new number your Attack Speed or something. Now do the same for the enemy. If your Attack Speed is 4 or more higher than the enemy Attack Speed, you will double hit. If theirs is 4 or more higher, they will double hit. Anywhere in between and you each get one hit. And that's really it.

  • @ChristianDogLover Oh and rather than actually DO those calculations, just go to options and changed the one about pre-combat information to "Strat" instead of "Detail". Detail only makes things confusing, Strat tells you what you need.

  • Yeah, Arena fighters pretty blatantly disregard stat caps, even at and above 30 with promoted units, iirc.

  • Yeah, that's what I did. I was gonna have him attack from the woods, but I saw in the stats that he only got one hit, which surprised me, cause he usually gets two. So I went back and moved him onto the plain instead, and the stats showed two hits. He had an iron sword I think, and I don't remember what his speed was. So it was the same weapon, same bad guy, same turn. The only difference was where he attacked from.

  • What decides whether you get two hits or not? I've tried to figure it, but nothing makes sense. The baffler for me is that I was trying to figure out where to have Raven attack a pirate, and if I attacked in the trees he got one hit, on the plain two hits. Does it have to do with the hit percentage?

  • @ChristianDogLover the primary decider is speed. If one character has much greater speed than the other, then he/she will double. However, constitution and the weapon the character is holding also matters. The higher the constitution a character has, the heavier weapons he/she can hold, but if you have say a character with low con and high speed but a heavy ass weapon then he/she can probably only single attack.

  • @brainwasher9876 So, did he lose speed by being in the woods? I think I'm starting to figure it out.

  • @ChristianDogLover what weapon was he using? Also, what's his speed? Although it's unusual for raven to get shitty speed growths, it's still possible.

If you're unsure whether someone can double hit, you can always press "Attack" and before you press A again to initiate the sequence a menu should pop up; next to the Mt. stat you should see a number, if there's a x2 hovering next to it it means that the guy will double hit.

  • The answer is simple; he had a silver sword that weighs less than your iron sword, so he didn't get a speed penalty, and kicked your ass.

  • Fire Emblem: the only game that will outHAX you. That's so true, from the old games to the new, when you hack the game or arena abuse trough savestate or battle sava on the Gc/WII games, the cpu still are able to kick your ass most of the time...

PS: in this case, for Guy to recieve 2x, the myrmidon needed to have 4 or more speed than him, and using a silver sword (it weights around 12, and since myrmidons have 5 of con), it will cost -7 speed. So, that myrmidon had at least 20+7+4= 31 speed.

  • @narowa44 ironically its his own fault

when you go to arena, it will generate random lvups to the opponent at lv near you'r units (these stats stay in caps)

If the opponet has lower all stats together than 80% of your units all stats total, it will get +1 in every stat. If its still under 80% of your unit's total it gets another +1 in all stats. This can go on quite long. If these +1s go over the cap, sucks to be your unit.

Guy had enormous stats all around. It was fated to happen :P

  • @narowa44 you know, the original fire emblem? each and every possible battle was scripted. the only random in there, is what you get upon a level up.

  • well what do you know, serves you right for abusing yourself uberstats

  • You obviously lost b/c you didn't have max Luk

  • Thumbs down this comment I posted.

  • yeah, the game does basically cheat since the developers made it to where arena enemies have NO stat limits and therefore can break the caps that would otherwise make the fights much more even/fair. A common situation I had just recently with my Falco Knight(maxed speed) where a freaking Valkyrie doubled her.

  • Even with being hacked you still lost? Man that AI is overpowered!!!

  • Maybe that Myrmidon was rich and bought many Stat Boosters and a Silver Sword

  • should of used Karel, sadly he isn't unlocked yet

  • Maybe he had max speed too, and didnt double hit, but went last on the first round of hits, then first on the second round of hits? This would appear as a double hit whilst in the arena

  • @stickmenarekool Nope. Enemies in the arena have no stat caps, and they are more challenging than normal units. Which explains why you might see a Warrior with 81 health, or a Mercenary doubling on a Myrmidon.

  • @Hirothegood Oh cool thanks. The More You Know

  • @stickmenarekool The player always goes first in each round in the arena.

  • Yo dawg I heard you like hax. So we hacked your hax so you get haxed while you hack.

  • Silver sword

  • Poor guy

  • how do you hack? is it really hard? plz respond

  • @sealkitty00 It's not hard at all. There's tutorial videos on youtube. The only tool I used is called Nightmare, which you can use to change character portraits, skill levels, skill growths, etc.

  • The Arena Breaks caps all the time. There are certain battles based on the money that you CAN NOT WIN. It doesn't matter even if you cap every single stat. The arena doesn't care. It will break all the caps. That's why you sometimes see enemies with 60+ or even 70+ HP.

  • @deprece2301 Well, they are possible to win... You just need a supreme blessing from the RNG Goddess.

  • In Soviet Russia, you outhack fire emblem.

In USA, fire emblem outhacks YOU =.=

  • Arena opponents can be lethal, particularly Myrmidons due to their very high Skill. Most arena opponents seem to have below average skill, so axe users are generally the least dangerous. Assuming you have enough speed/defence to avoid dying after 1 hit, that is.

  • lol arena use your stats against you

  • That happened to me once but i didnt use hax..... and i died first round didnt even get to pussy out of the arena in time :( i think i also had already abused with other chars too so i had to redo allllll of that. fun day that was

  • Silver is stronger than iron.

  • Why didnt you press B the moment he double hit you?...

  • @venomstrikez He's using save states so he can go back whenever he wants. That's also how he recorded this video.

  • lol this FE haxed but FE8 is broken with the hit%, i always get hit wit like 20% just about every time -________-

  • not hax you dummy....

  • I remember getting Warriors and Berserkers with ???? in their HP, fcking arena, i hate u as much as i love u <.<

  • You don't even have to hack for the Arena to hack. If it determines that doubling with a Silver weapon compared to your Iron weapon is necessary, than it will double you with a Silver weapon. No questions asked.

  • That was bull. You were at max speed and using a lighter weapon.

  • The arena likes to adjust things for the stats of the chara. It will break the rules and screw you over if you have high/maxed stats. I've been arena/RNG abusing (no hacking whatsoever) in FE6 for good levelups, and the game will stack the odds by having enemies that double you with a high-tier weapon... even when you have max speed for a character that is in the arena.

  • you forgot to max out luck, that's how

  • Return of the Silver Sword Myrmidon....

  • you hacked, so RNG goddess hates you

  • wow FE banned ya >.<

  • damn nothing makes those games any easier XD

"oh so you gonna hack now? SUPER HAX GO!"

that is so messed up XD

  • In Soviet Fire Emblem games HAX you

  • lol you just got out-hacked

  • The only we to out hax the arena is to destroy stat caps.

i.e. An Eliwood with 50 in all stats.

  • @ephraimx7

Not really, the Arena would just say, well, then I'll take 70 STr etc. I thought 127 was the absolute maximum. Although that could be RD.

  • @ViciousFalcon ...Hmm... Well, it worked with Roy. :P

...50 in all stats, that is... Now, with that said, they were also only charging him 1 gold per battle, so... not really worth it. lol

  • You forgot about the part where the RNG gods have no limits to their "SHIT ON PLAYER NOW" powers.

  • needs more resistance

  • I hate when you've spent a lot of time on a mission your units get great level ups and your best unit gets killed at the arena.

  • That was a hack?

  • @shadrogon so he either played this in russia or this copy was made there

  • Also, the Arena hacked the Myrmidon's Str. Silver Sword has 13 Mt, you have 20 defense, and he dealt 16 damage per blow... figure it out.

  • The annotations was funny.

The reason he's capable of doubling you is because the Arena make all Silver Weapons have 1 in Weight. Just to out hack the hackers. Or something.

  • Respond to this video...

  • its wierd that he can attack twice

  • 20 Str on Guy as a Myrmidon? I call serious hax, I got mine to reach like 20 at lvl 20 Swordmaster.

  • In Soviet Russia, game hax you!

  • This is what happens when the RNG goddess has an orgasm, she turns your whole world upside down.

  • @Kurayamiblack Dude, I once got killed by a brigand with 28 hit... My unit had like 60 or 70 something... xD

  • Sooo... if you hack with God mode, does it counter with super God mode?

  • @CorruptSeth

    more like anti-God mode

  • Silver sword myrmidons are impossible.

  • The RNG Goddess was not amused by your hacks so she decided to teach you a lesson to never mess with her. :p Nice try though.

  • with those stats and level, i wouldnt even arena abuse him one more battle

  • You are reading best comment ever.

  • lol your fire emblem commenting is just hilarius man...

  • This is not the first one breaking caps... I've seen warriors with 80+HP and 35+Str

  • Why are arena enemies allowed to break caps? Valkyries do it, now myrmidons do it. Why IS, why?

  • @littleryry2005

Whenever you send a strong unit or one that the game considers dangerous to the arena, it will try to kill it in the arena.

  • i would go back and hack until not even chuck norris could beat guy

  • wow you got outhacked O_O FE really hates you

  • u should have had it with the duelist do a 0% critical

  • "this is why we have save states"

  • Guy wants to be the very best...like no one ever was.

  • where is the critical when you need it!!!!!!!

  • In soviet russia, the game hax you!

  • you hacked and so did the arena XP

  • @333cheeseboy Yep. I got out-hacked.

  • @coolkyle342 There is only one way to out hack the arena, set your stats to 255, if the game tries to go higher, it's stats become negative.

  • This is what happens with a Silver Sword...in SOVIET RUSSIA!

  • Hack all you like, but the silver sword myrm will always double. Always.

  • "I will be the best swordsman in all sacea..."

Ha ha, no you won't! That arena dude is way out of your league.

  • lmfao hax

  • Enter your text here

  • @TODhaseo lol I don't know how that got there. Thanks.

  • @TODhaseo the enemy use a sliver sword i thougt he use a iron sword

  • Fire Emblem: The only game where the A.I. hacks back.

  • lol thats not even hax,it's becuz the enemy have more speed

    or probaly lucky enough XD.

  • @vi3tkillaz Guy had the speed cap wich is the same for all myrm's they could only have equal speed.

  • The Arena stats your opponents depending on your stats. So, even if you have everything capped the RNG could screw you because its FE's way of saying,''Numbers aren't everything.''

  • The caps for enemies in the arena are 25 i think, not 20

  • I would put, "No Foo u just SUCK!" X3

  • the game is programmed to give u fights based off of ur stats (is why lords seem to get enemys with silver weps alot) if u have high stats the game will give u stronger enemys with no limit on their stat cap

  • LOL! and for put your commenr in here i say

"I AM GOD!! BOW TO ME MORTAL!"

  • I used cheat to put Saar of FE8 into the arena. He fought a level 6 knight and stood up pretty well. Since he was an enemy, I couldn't heal him, but he won 1 fight and lost the second one.

  • Son of a.......

Yeah, happened to me with Eirika, who maxed speed.

Also my Artur maxed res in the arena, and he fought a level20 mage with fimbultver, who did 20 damage each hit.

In any case, I did the calculations and the mage had 27 magic. A male Sage's mag cap is 28!

  • All arena enemies have no caps for stats, it's all about giving you the shitty end of the stick

  • @LOLNOOBCAKES

    No shit Sherlock

  • I don't think those are legit stats. If you used action replay or something, or if you hacked those stats, then for some reason it doesn't apply in the arena or something. This also happened to me with Lyn, who maxed all her stats, (with cheats) but was killed in arenas. I might be wrong but that's my guess

  • can you tell me when we press the b button because i not want to lose all me good guy just because i don't know

  • before you starts an attack

    you hit

    he hit

you hit secound time while pressing B before his turn

  • the enemy hit twice on the first turn watch it again

  • wow aint that a bitch

  • FE is one of the few games that counter hax's you back.

  • i love that video from fe4 i think and the enemy triangle attacks him lmfao

  • wow i feel bad for guy and why didn't you press the B button when you had the chance?

  • Because he's playing on an emulator and can just load a previous state, which is seperate from the game's actual save.

  • lolz then it really doesn't matter then XD

  • The arena always screws you over unless you use the Nini's Grace trick.

  • Actually it's not hax, that was a little thing the creators of the game did so one could abuse the area. They gave him a silver sword sword to be strong and made him fast enough to double anyone. I just learned this about 5 seconds ago.

  • Made him fast enough to double attack another of his class with maxed out speed.

... A.K.A. hax. Just on the producers part.

  • I bet everyone( I was like that too XD)here were like WTF HAX!!! >:(. XD

  • As always, the only way to cheat the RNG is to hax the enemies' stats into the negative...

The RNG probably took notice of UBERGUY and made their own uber unit, LOL.The arena mostly gives an opponent of equal or higher power.

  • if he had regal sword then good god that wouldve been worse(lloyd during final stage)for those who dont know

  • whenever i try to use the arena i always get put against people with silver weapons, so i can never win >:( do you know why this happens?

  • your unit have high DEF, in off to force out the silver weapons.

  • Thanks 4 the info.

  • Well, I noticed that your luck isn't maxed and the constitution is at 5 (which can only be gained via Body Rings or at promotion). Your foe may have a higher constitution (which impacts the character's efficiency on weapons), which is why he double strike you.

  • you need 4 extra speed points to double.

  • LOL. HAX!!!

  • Silver Sword is fast as hell.

  • i hav a good way to arena abuse and keep all ur people alive and no hax at all!!!

  • Aprrently, My Guy had maxed out speed and against a level 20 myridon. Guy didnt double. Btw, Is Guy's name spelled like Gi or Ge?

  • It's...spelled like Guy. Y'know like... a guy...

  • I will be ... the best... swordsman in all of Sacae...

*red myrmidon* no you ! lol

  • How the hell did you cap Str, Skill, Spd and Def at lvl 11? Did you hack so the growths were increased or did you get really RNG blessed?

  • I hacked the growth rates. But apparently that didn't stop arena enemies from kicking my ass.

  • @coolkyle342 LMFAO!

  • @coolkyle342 its cause silver sword is lighter than iron, and the more def u have, the better the weapons for the ppl in the arena

  • @SiLeNtDo0m If he was RNG blessed Guy wouldn't have died to another Myrmidon that has a heavier weapon and while having Guy max speed for a Myrmidon and STILL getting doubled by an enemy of the same class with heavier weaponry

  • @SiLeNtDo0m its impossible to be that RNG blessed xD

  • This is why: Arena units have higher caps. You guys must've seen Warriors with ?? hp before? This is the same sort of situation.

  • I put Fargus into the Arena in Hard mode, He got owned by a Wyvern Lord that had 77 HP. XD

I used the Mine glitch incase your wondering..... :P

  • WTF?!?! how the hell can he attack 2 times if you maxed speed?!?!?! 'O_O

  • tht hapened to me only with lyn it was soo sad and i did a lot af arena abuse

  • now what have we learned about using steroids to win arena fights

  • omg k on my brothers file his jaffar had one hp, on which turn the female boss sage with fimbalyter on ch 24x was about to kick his ass with a 99 percent chance of killing him. then suddenly, the sage misses him and jaffar stays alive and kills her. the chances of those events occuring like that is maybe 1 out of 1000.

think about it. my brothers fav character was jaffar, he was about to die, but she missed him with fucking 99 hit, 34 damage and 25 critical. ho-ly-shit

  • Um no lol if theres a 99% out of 100% that she would hit you, then its actually 1% out of 100% that she would miss

  • Dual RNG makes it so that any percent over 50 is actually bigger then it. So a 99 would really be 99.9 or 1 in a thousand chance.

  • besides he spelled fimbelvetr wrong (i think) and i have heard that story of 5 accounts by now

  • And how do you get Jaffar at 24x? I think he might mean 28x.

  • yea

  • 99.99, not 99.9. 1/10,000.

  • wow dude u got jipped big time in that fight. you shouldve won no way that enemy shouldve doubled like that

  • enemies in the arena's caps are 30 not 20 even if they aren't promoted

  • This means his speed must've been at least 27. Wow. You fail.

  • 20 is max for all non promoted units

  • Wow. I fail.

    But then what happened?

  • no you don't fail in the arena the cap for even un-promoted units is 30 (or more i don't remember)

  • Really? Thats cheap!

  • yea...

  • That's what you get for hacking. If you hadn't given him 20 Def, the enemy would've attacked you with an Iron Sword instead. The game also seems to have him him higher Con and Spd than you.

  • Justice catches up with another hacker.

  • wait what? thats not possible, he was even using a silver sword a heavy weapon, your game really hates you.

  • That should be, in every sense of the word, impossible.

Luckily for me, the RNG system seems to favor me in my copy of FE that is a bit different with its slightly larger then normal carttridge and difeerent cartrifge art, and the annoying ability to completly erase all my data on its own.

For those who read this, the cartridge art is the same as the box art, when its supposed to have the Durandal and Armads on it.

  • I think you got a pirated copy of the game

  • Besides the random data erase, everthing works perfectly, including soundtest the multi endings, link, etc.

  • I think someone got a hold of a flash card and made it look like a normal cartridge??

Try it on a Nintendo DS or something

  • I think thats the PAL version of the game. I remember I had that too, and the NTSC version.

  • lol, I hate it when the game cheats like that. I've seen this happen in other games as well...

  • I once had a hax like that in the arena. Oswin:30 def vs hero with steel sword. Hero did 22 damage....

  • 500 CON? XD
