I cant see any problem for the Takbeer, they brothers are saying Takbeer be-coz they love and respect him and happy to see him in German. (Is like to see someone after many years ) :)

And you are wondering why the Sheikh is shy ?

Islam teach us NOT to be crazy, but to be shy, and for the sheikh to be shy is to show respect to his Muslim Ummah.

@WeBorn2DieAnyTime ask the shekh and he will tell u its a bid3a. u will notice he dont join them by saying the takbeer. its a bid3a to make dhikr in jamaah. this is known by the scholars. all dhikr that is done in groups is haram(bid3a)

@WeBorn2DieAnyTime no they dont akhy. i never saw scholars or people of ahlul sunna do takbeer together during eid only ahlul bid3a do that in the masjd after eid prayer etc. this is bid3a. in the masjid where i live they also do it. dont look at the actions of people look at what the prophet thought us and those who inherited the quran and sunna( scholars of ahlul sunnah)

@WeBorn2DieAnyTime well im also wondering if he corected them in privet. allahua3lam. the shekh needs to use wisdom if he corects a person. but its bid3a oegty. ask the scholars: is it allowed to make dhikr or recite quran in jamaah (group)? they will tell u its a bid3a. if u want i can send u fatwas of scholars like bin baaz, albani, uthymeen about this issue inshallah if i find them. they all say its bid3a. takbeer is ibadah and this ibadah should not be dont in way outside the sunnah.
