Most Christians would indeed call some of their fellow Christians "Satanists," mostly because Christianity and the lifestyles therein can be just as diverse as Hinduism. I am reading the old testament at the moment because I want to read it instead of hearing people always blabbing about it. E.g. It's not a book that was written by random guys to dictate people's lives, it was originally transcribed observations written by the people that witnessed them. It was also letters found that were sent to various groups as well as personal writings. The laws were never given to gentiles, you don't have to worry about them like Israelites do.

Although the Bible is an intricate part of english language literature, I have to say it doesn't command any adherence. It's the equivalent of what Homer's Iliad is to the Greek culture.
If you're looking for education, check skepticsannotatedbible(dot)com. It lists the 300+ contradictions and inconsistencies that permeate the Bible.
Also, Brian Flemming's "The God Who Wasn't There" presents a very strong case against the existence of Jesus Christ as portrayed in the Gospels while at the same time pointing out the inconsistencies from one Gospel's account of Christ to the next.
The Bible does not contradict Itself, only man's understanding is where the problem is. The Word of God is written in a mysterious fashion and is understood when God reveal it to the person.
Keep in mind that Christ spoke in parables, and there are deep spiritual truths found throughout the whole Bible. If you are interested, I could send you some references which might help you better understand what I am refereing to if God's wiling.

No. Not the same. A religion has a dogma. With non-religious books, they are not allegedly inspired by a god and therefore are fallible.
Taking the Bible as fact has a dogma, as you are now asserting it is fact and infallible. The Bible is not a history book. Also, rather than using your own definitions, use what we already have.
As for being gay/lying, lying can be independently identified as bad. It requires no religion. There is no decent reason for why being gay is wrong.

Most Christians would indeed call some of their fellow Christians "Satanists," mostly because Christianity and the lifestyles therein can be just as diverse as Hinduism. The Christians are always reading from the old testament which is the Jewish Bible. Well, I study Zen and I meditate. I am reading the old testament at the moment because I want to read it instead of hearing people always blabbing about it. E.g. I didn't know Noah's wife and three sons, with daughters in law went on the arc, too.I didn't know he was a drunk, either. lol. So, can I read this ancient piece of literature if I want and not be religious. It's just an interesting history puzzle.

It's not a book that was written by random guys to dictate people's lives, it was originally transcribed observations written by the people that witnessed them. It was also letters found that were sent to various groups as well as personal writings. The laws were never given to gentiles, you don't have to worry about them like Israelites do.

Since we're talking about magic, answer this question.
Where did the elements come from to make the stars that make the gasses to make the carbon, did they always exist or create themselves?
If that can't be answered, then isn't the premise of this is based on a huge assumption?

energy (quantum singularity) expanded (big bang), became fundamental particles which grouped to make hydrogen and helium. Hydrogen and helium became stars, heavy elements up to iron are made in stars. Everything started from energy. No body knows were that came from or why it expanded. But that does not stop the evidence from pointing to the big bang theory.

I use the bible as a history book, not a religious one. Just because I try to follow what one person said in a book, that doesn't mean I'm in a religion named after that person. The Romans called followers of Christ Christians, the followers themselves didn't start that.
I try to follow the teachings of Malcolm X, does that make me a Malcolm Xtian?

The Romans called believers of Christ Christians, it was not a religion nor did the Israelites intend it to be one. Just because that's what they were called, that doesn't mean that's what their religion was.
Those that worshiped the Egyptian god Serapis were called Christians also. That religion is deep in paganism...

there is no difference between a christian and someone who reads the bible and accepts its claims as true and as holding divine bearing. by definition you are a non-denominational christian, which is what i once was, then a christian mystic, then a deist, now an atheist.

Most Christians don't follow the health laws, a lot don't even believe in reading the old testament. A lot incoherently babel, a lot think they're going to be raptured. Most celebrate pagan holidays and birthdays. Most have no idea that the name "Jesus" is blasphemous [not his real name] and they call our creator "God" [not a name at all]
I do none of these things. I behave more like an Israelite than a Christian, I'd even take Muslim...

Here is another reference to the beginning which is given in the New Testiment (which was written after the Eternal Son of God came in the flesh).

English has many roots from the Greek language. Which is the original language of the New Testament. And as far as "Creed", their music is not fully sound in the doctrine of Christ. I listen to Christian music anyway. The message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is woven in Christian music.

You are looking at the order of how this is written and determining from your unbelieving mind a time sequence withou noticing time references that are written. Chapter 1 mentions God created them, and chapter 2 speaks about the time frame in more detail. Get out of your trap of unbelief and take God for His Word! Repent and believe the Gospel!

There seemed to be a misunderstanding about Christians in some earlier comments. And BTW, Mormons have another authority aside from the BIble. This makes their doctrine "another Jesus". JW seem to have some teachings which do not line up with Scripture also.

You read the Bible?How does the Word of God affect you?Do you follow Christ? Although the Bible is an intricate part of english language literature, I have to say it doesn't command any adherence. It's the equivalent of what Homer's Iliad is to the Greek culture.
If you're looking for education, check skepticsannotatedbible(dot)com. It lists the 300+ contradictions and inconsistencies that permeate the Bible.

The Bible does not contradict Itself, only man's understanding is where the problem is. The Word of God is written in a mysterious fashion and is understood when God reveal it to the person.
Keep in mind that Christ spoke in parables, and there are deep spiritual truths found throughout the whole Bible. If you are interested, I could send you some references which might help you better understand what I am refereing to if God's wiling.

The Bible contradicts itself from the very beginning. Genesis Chapter 1 is one creation story. Chapter 2 is a different creation story.
In chapter 1, man is created after other animals and female is created simultaneously.
In chapter 2, man is created before other animals and female is created from the rib of the man at a later date.
Which one is correct?

Gen. 1 gives general information (although all the Word of God should be examined in detail)
Gen. 2 gives a more specific account of the same creating within six days.
Man's understanding can sometimes get in the way of God's understanding. Do not lean on your own understanding. Compare the Scriptures with the Scriptures...search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life, but they are they which testify of Me [Jesus] John5:39 (read John5:47)
