@myideasoffun joes seems to take all the chevy motors out, me and my friend were commenting on how many ford modulars were there 99 and up pickups everywhere, 1 chevy for every 20 ford trucks and all the motors are gone. i was gunna make an update video soon, maybe this weekend because ill have all my fuel system stuff and hopefully start or finish the turbo kit this weekend, but i can certainly show how i am wiring it all up, no problem

@denmah yeheven the old chevy trucks, there were no motors no 305 or 350s. thanks cuz i was thinking of throwing a 5.3 in my project car

@denmah are you gonna be running a megasquirt on this car? id really like to see more of how these swaps are wired up because ive never messed with efi before

@1988montecarloss doing an update soon. turbo kit is done, just need to get my intercooler and piping kit in and finish that up, then i need to do the fuel system and wire the car. i am going to be running a MS1 and i can highlight some of the wiring for you, its very simple

That head could be tig welded, drilled and taped. You probably don't care though.

@alboman1 im thinking about contacting people to widen the 14inch steelies in the back so i can fit a decent 14 inch slick lol and throw the caps back on

@denmah I know there are people that have done just that.

I remember a Saab guy who took the centers from some like 4.5" vintage wheels and put them on like 7" wide barrels. they looked decent enough.

@armyrob211 the motor was 200 dollars and i have lots of spare parts, and if i hurt this motor i will have even more spare parts for the next motor, its really pretty cheap when the injectors are gunna be 400 dollars and the fuel pump was 200

@1988montecarloss with a good power wire and 58psi (base LSX pressure) 700whp, our ventura makes 500whp 540ftlbs to the tire through an automatic with this pump hooked up the same way and it has no fueling issues. im only looking to make 600 even with this car, or whatever it does on 18-20lbs

@1988montecarloss get it from jayracing there are alot of counterfeit 044's watch out. jay racing also supplies the thread to AN fittings for running nice fuel line like parker push lock or stainless.

@1988montecarloss i have seen people doing 700whp on E85... wich you need alot more fuel for e85 than gasoline. if that answers your question haha

What is the difference in the two heads from the factory? is the truck head designed for torque and the ls1 head designed for top end power? im not a gm guy just wondering because i think the powerband might be kinda weird.
