@pxavier91 I don't know enough about drumming to explain that except that Ringo claims this was his finest effort. I also think A Day in the Life was one of his other top drumming performances. He was an underrated drummer and experts note his drumming because he is one of the few to have developed his own unique style.

What geniuses! I find it fascinating that Lennon was so insecure about himself...his guitar playing, his singing voice, his writing. In later interviews with others who knew him, including George Harrison, it comes out that John felt inferior to Paul as to musical abilities. John was always the cool one, and he grew up tough in Liverpool, but he was truly a tortured artistic soul. RIP John and George and the best to you. Thanks for Everything!
