We've only had the DOE for about 30 years, yet despite all the money pumped into it, private/charter/voucher-funded schools clean public schools clocks result-wise (i.e- smarter, better-performing students). Constitutionally, education is run by the individual states, not the federal government. Practically, involving the federal government hasn't and likely won't make things better as the issues go far deeper than just pumping more money into it.....
@BMoneyAramaki ...... and as a simple means of cost/benefit (is it actually accomplishing it's purpose?) I believe the department should be eliminated and brought back to individual state control. Just because the government's involved, doesn't always mean it's work is quality.

We've only had the DOE for about 30 years, yet despite all the money pumped into it, private/charter/voucher-funded schools clean public schools clocks result-wise (i.e- smarter, better-performing students). Constitutionally, education is run by the individual states, not the federal government. Practically, involving the federal government hasn't and likely won't make things better as the issues go far deeper than just pumping more money into it.....

@ArtieLangeXM I support that a business has the right to deny service to anyone they should choose. And i also support the right of the person who was denied the service to tell everyone they were denied service unjustly. How long do you think a national chain would stay in business if they decided to stop providing a service to black people. I predict white people and black people would abandon this company and it would be out of business within 30 days. That is how a free market works.

Jim DeMint, a Republican Senator, and Bernie Sanders, an independent Senator, led the charge for a Federal Reserve audit in the Senate, but watered down the original language of the house bill(HR1207), so that a complete audit would not be carried out.

@ArtieLangeXM you do realize mitt Romney, newt etc have not released ANY statement on the NDAA and when asked they refuse to answer or claim they don't have enough on the bill to respond. So no I do not know these things since they refuse to answer questions on it.
You forget to mention that he is also against any and all law that targets African Americans. You see Ron Paul does not see people in groups he sees everyone as one group. Do not imply that he is racist because it is blatantly false.

lol you do realise there's already been a partial audit right? I suggest you learn history because Hitler killed there private central bank because of hyperinflation cause there massive debt and opened a government owned bank that printed receipts for work(interest/debt free money) done by the people for which employment went from 70% to 100% and became a superpower.

There is also a complete audit of the financial statements of the Federal Reserve every year by a private external auditing firm, currently Deloitte. However the Government Accountability Office - the auditing office of the federal government - is legally restricted from some types of audits.
