  • I wish I was there...

  • I'm actually in this video for like a nano second!!!

  • Ive been listening to skinny puppy since mid 80's so for there age i think they are near 50 because im 41 and they r older than me.

  • THANKYOU soo much skrabrug, ive been looking for proof of these guys for ages, soo good!

  • Is it just me, or they are using porn footage on those TVs when displaying refrain lyrics?

  • minus addition is nothing. Glut is one of my top 10's. It will be forever.

  • ohGr est un tres bon groupe.Cette chanson est tres bonne.

  • Yeah part of it is filmed at TREES in Deep Ellum Dallas Texas

i am the guy jumping up a bunch in the front towards the end of the video

wow that was almost 10 years ago

after the show my friends JESSE and CARLA and I helped their road manager return a rental car to the DFW airport and got stuck there as the bus was waiting to head to Austin for their next show, and earlier that day I had sold a 3 foot WATER PIPE to CEVIN at the INDICA ALLEY!

    GREAT TIMES!!! TONY

  • Holy shit. I thought I saw Trent Reznor for a moment.

  • @86nappygirl In the crowd right?!?

  • awesome performance!

  • Kamin and I were there... right in front of ohGr...

Good luck seeing us, though! (Let me know if you find us, because I'd like to know!)

  • @dasMobius Sorry You Tube. I meant for that comment to post privately to my friends on Facebook. I pressed the wrong button and it became a public You Tube comment.

I was indeed at that show (in Austin) with my brother (who's name is Kamin). I've watched this video several times, but can't see myself or my brother here. The video may have actually used footage from several shows, I don't know...

Funny story: at the show, a drop of Ogre's sweat fell in my eye by accident.

  • I love Skinny Puppy and Ohgr...

I have the same Tattoo as Ohgr has under his right wrist (The Black off-center Cross) though mine has a maroon circle for the center with black cross-hairs intersecting it and is also under my left wrist instead of right.

Badass tattoo that I'd recommend to all SP/Ohgr Fans >;P

    -Turns Off Pain-

  • Correction, this video also shows it at the 0:15 second mark.

  • @redliberation

    which means that cross? :$

  • @jokerpunk77 it means "the process"

  • ....geniální!!!!!!!!!

  • @MrFreeba nejlepší!!!!

  • @MrFreeba jo!

  • If I had seen this before, I might have paid for tickets to skinny puppy. O well.

  • Sounds quite a bit different live, but I do like it.

  • Puff on this

  • puff on my meat popsicle!

  • Pain! Contact! Backwards! Pain!

    Good Vocal in this video!

  • He is the most beautiful and talented man on the earth

  • lovely

  • who ever said anyone had to choose between SP and KMFDM?. Their styles are so different. There's plenty of room for both bands in this world.

  • Wait, so this is the guy from skinny Puppy, right? I like this band alot. It's unique industrial. I mean, I like Skinny Puppy too, dont get me wrong, but this band just kinda grew on me more. I love the guitar synth riffs. Nice touch.

  • Tim's voice actually works pretty well with Nivek's

  • that's cuz tim skold sounds almost identical to marilyn manson. i met them both in 2002. and talked to them about it. alot of the vocals on golden age of grotesque are actually doubled up between them. and that type of vocal style has always and ONLY been good for industrial. watch some Revolting Cocks from when chris connely was the vocalist. bamfest shit ever!

  • Shut your face you fuck

  • that's cuz Shut your face you fuck

  • yeah it's skold, and i personally like KMFDM more, but sp and ohgr are good too

  • Looks like it was all from the show they did at La Zona Rosa in Austin

  • I have some difficulties choosing between SP an KMFDM :S

  • what the fuck do these lyrics mean?

  • a correlation between the function of minus and newtons third law ...song !?!

  • this video is great, who edited it?

  • is that tim skold with the cowboy hat? cause i know that he played for ohGr before

  • Doesn't he play for MM now?

  • No, Tim wised up ad got his ass outta Manson.

  • ahh...I miss these fucks.Touring anytime soon?

  • They've been touring for the past month.

  • He sounded way different doing this live last Wednesday lol. Still one of his best; these vocals are fine.

  • FUCK, i have to miss him at slim's on friday. i hope SP goes on tour soon, i had to miss them last tour. getting a ride is a bitch.

  • Have to disagree with those that dislike his vocals here. Just heard the studio version and I actually prefer the rawness of his vocals in this live performance to what's on the record.

  • Oh Ogre is sex on legs...

One day he shall come to Australia.

    ^_^

  • Ogre is so hot :)

  • I prefer this version to the studio one. The vocals here seem to fit the song better. It's all about opinion...

  • pain contact backwards, i ilke this dudes tats

  • Ohgr is a great singer on the albums, but why is it he's not as great in this video?

  • Because he is heavily distorted on the album, and further edited to sound just right. On stage, all he has is his voice.

  • well in the studio... you have full range of vocal effects and tracks.live you have adrenaline pumping and i am sure after playing tons of show dates it will tend to put a damper on the vocal cords.... nivek ogre is still a great singer in the studio and live. and yes his name is nivek ogre not OHGR.OHGR IS the name of the band.

  • to Hiei3 & others who say Ogre doesn't sing well in this video. it's cuz the song was recorded live & Ogre had a lot of vocal problems during this tour. Ogre's doctor told him to cancel some shows, but Ogre kept the tour going. & he was also ordered from his doctor not to talk in between shows. it was pretty serious. i give Ogre mad respect for continuing on with the tour, even tho it did effect his health. but listen to the LP version on Welt, you'll notice the vocals aren't as rough than here.

  • pretty sure part of their little video in the background is some chick giving head, and their lead is really a horrible singer, but I like them anyways :)

  • That video is:

    Ministy - teeths

    ;)

  • There's a negative video of a porn playing and it isolates that footage as the guy is blowing his load on the chick's face.

  • Ogre's voice works for this kind of music!

  • Dude at around 31-32 seconds until the end of that shot, the guy in the shot... is that Trent Reznor? That's fucking great! That looks just like him... wouldn't that be an irony?

  • Whoah, that guy DOES look like Trent Reznor.

  • Trent Reznor was influenced by Skinny Puppy & Ministry. So I don't really see the irony.

  • The irony is in the name, and in the fact that Ogre looks very strange on the stage, but you can also see him among the audience in one shot. There is also "don't let him" phrase, and you will see a naked Matthew Perry when you play it backwards!

  • This remix is way better than the studio version. I went to their Portland (OR)show on this tour -- it was one of the strongest performances I've ever seen.

  • I wish I was into OhGr and Skinny Puppy back then. I live in Oregon too, and I would have loved to see this live.

  • Yea for real.. I am huge SK fan but I'm also a recluse. I just found out around 3 months ago from Youtube that Ogre had songs out under this band name. I love the part in the songs second vs where he says "Sucking your savior from the bottle all gone" and his voice cracks and it makes the song sound better! Reminds me of the ending of Killing game where he goes insane.

  • Great video! I love that insane look he gets.

  • Hrm, some of this video looks like it was done here in Tulsa at Cain's Ballroom. This show was a long time ago, but I distinctly remember a video cam being passed around through the front row of the crowd.

  • Nivek Ogre is godly

  • I second that!!

  • $second++

  • abstractdawn is a fucking douchebag

  • Great! On the subject of vocals, in OhGr's case it doesn't really matter because he has such an interesting stage persona as it, and the slightly off notes add character. Take Nick Cave for an example, he doesn't make quite a few of his notes, but it is just part of his style.

  • ohGr=one of the greatest. This is what music/art is all about.

  • about his singing, personally I like the music better live. (well, when im there, that is)

  • People always seem to put down Niveks vocals on this site but I love them live, he sounds really raw/punk.

People should watch videos 'With(out) Teeth' if they want 'singing', like 'Hand That Feeds'? *shudders*

  • This was actually just released as the music video for this song.So far I think there are no ohGr official DVDs though.

  • Great post! Makes me wish I was there!!

  • Thanks for posting this. He doesn't sing too well live but he's so hot it's ok lol.

How did you get this footage?
