  • The Atanasoff story was popular, but it has little truth. His machine wasn't really a programmable computer - more like a calculator. The ENIAC worked on entirely different principles.

  • John Mauchly is not the inventor of the computer, he just used John Atanasoff's ideas to build ENIAC!

  • They are entirely different machines, Mauchly used the ideas from the ABC for a machine that changed the world!
