  • This is what you see when you remove your nostalgia goggles.

  • The NES has the worse gliched around...!

  • never forget..

  • BEN makes his wy to the NES O_O

  • ahh nostalgia =>

  • LOL Dude! Clean out your cartridges! O_0

  • i once glitched up my pokemon yellow with a gameshark. that was about the time when "pikablue" was all the rage so i put the code for mew but substituted the last hex value with the one above it(pretty smart for a 10 year old eh?) hoping to get it, but then i encountered a "wild lorelie" and the only pokemon i had was raichu with "growl, explosion and another explosion". needless to say, i didnt get very far.

  • dust mighta fucked it up

  • I like. damn I'm a nerd :/

  • 0:43 stabilized, you can see the waterfall sprites in the bottom and the sound is correct.

1:56 PLEASE LEAS'TEM'UP (( UAL IR UAL ILS.

You should buy a new 72-pin cartridge reader.

  • I had the same glitch in my GBA version.

  • Thats not a glitch your pins are wore out

  • @jrbungholio I found out it's cartridge tilting

  • @Dark0Lord7 Yeah there's also a pressure switch in the cartridge slot right in the middle that can wear out.

  • dude, this isnt a glitch, this is a dirty/crooked cartridge lol, i hate when n00bs use the word glitch innapropriatly

  • heh, school must be out. tis that time of year

  • @EnderTXenocide

haha,. "kids these days.. they don't even know what a glitch is"

  • Oh man, the NES is prone to shit like this. It's almost like it's supposed to do that.

HAHA and you know when it flashes on and off? LOL that's awesome. Really takes me back. lol

the SNES is much more reliable though; my SNES is 20 years old and it's never had a single glitch.

  • @wilkes85 That "flashing on and off" is the lockout chip kicking in on the NES system, which is supposed to have prevented unauthorized companies or organizations from making unlicensed games for the NES...look up 10NES on wikipedia for more info if anyone is interested.

  • haha my name is ganadorf and the triforce is ruined now it is my turn to rape the triforce i mean steal the triforce adn rape princess zelda! i mean steal.

  • what did you do to the triforce?! now you destroyed hyrule! LOL

  • um I don't wanna sound like a jerk but that wasn't a glitch it was your game crashing your console but I guess you could look at it that way

  • lol, good to see that I'm not the only one that gets freaked out by these glitches (not too much now, but when I was a kid, I'd be terrified for some unknown reason, lol).

  • all i can say is that these spazzes that the NES has scares the shit out of me. thats why i dont play it in the middle of the night

  • its things like this this that happen to me..i just wanna toss my console across the room, lol xD

  • ah yeah... i remember when my Super Mario Bros 3 broke down like this. i ran the fuck out of the room.

  • Those songs bring back soo many memories.

  • roflmfao! "please lease up ual ir ils"

  • Is this using a circuit bent NES?

    Or cartridge bending?

  • neither my friend,

this is straight up organic shit

  • Dodgy carts and stuff?

    I like :)

I don't want to be a spam whore, but I bent a computer, and it's like this but a lot more "organic" and "analogue".. you'll see what I mean, I have a video of it.

  • @kick52 Cartridge bending

  • lol. when i was a kid, i used to do this to my cartridges on purpose.

  • ...

    ウ .4 ka-glitched your game D:

  • Don't laugh... but this kind of stuff freaks the living crap out of me. One time I had a nightmare where I'm playing a game quite comfortably and it glitches up badly so I turn it off, problem solved right? Wrong. All of the sudden, severely glitched up characters start coming out of the TV and slowly walk - zombie style - towards me and I run upstairs to my room and hide behind the door! But they find me!... and I wake up somehow in my parents bed after sleepwalking there... Weird, huh?

  • You're not the only one where glitches freaks the living crap out of you. Though I love watching videos like this.

  • Glitches scare me if I'm playing and then BAM it hits me, but if I force the game to glitch I'm fine.

  • Oh trust me, I know the feeling. Glitches scare the CRAP out of me. Just like older 8-bit games used to scare me when I was younger, as well as computers. Couldn't go into typing class in kindergarden without having a panic attack. I still remember that...

  • this is what happens when i wish upon the triforce and i wish that there would be screwy 8-bit graphics

  • nice! But of course, the battery might get erased by such weirdness? ;-O

  • ACID TRIP!

  • Looks like someone took too much LSD

  • more or less a misread then a glitch :P isn't it?

the term glitch is a bug, EX< the game genie code to get items free,

A misread would mean something isn't read right therefore making the gameplay to have undesired effects.

    My opinion,

    Good upload tho thanks

  • the word glitch being sinominous with "bug" is something which only recently occurred in your gaming culture. glitch is in fact a far broader term which even goes outside of the binary world. look it up. but u r right in that the cartridge was misread.. only thats what makes it a glitch haha. this form of work has been labeled "glitch art".

  • @1bit someone just got pwnd! lol nice video!! i love discovering NES glitches :)

  • Don't blow on your cartidge man, that can cause more damage to the game. Clean it, with no harsh chemicals.

  • take some marajuana stick it in there put the game in and it'l be healed fine lol

  • And how!!^_^

  • that cant be good on the NES or the game. I remember I put in an NES cartridge in the system a certain way and it got me to the end of the game. I dont know how it happened but it did.

  • did you use any kind of cheat device?

  • no, these are just analog recordings from my NES console.. simple documentation of these glitches which anyone of the Nintendo generation most definitely recalls

  • @1bit was your game really dirty, or was the battery damaged?

  • I've actually seen all of these glitches before

  • Neo... You can see the code...

  • What was up with the sign?

  • lol at the end i think the game was trying to say please clean me ok u screwed me up get me the heck out a here

  • There's a difference between a game glitch and an improperly inserted or dirty game. Get it right.

  • OMG u hav to buy a new one

  • You messing with the cartridge?

  • real!

  • thank you!

  • I've seen this happen before

  • Uhm... WTF?! xD

  • Woot a glitch with music. This happeds to me a lot in super mario world.

  • I want look that strange glitch and for that I destruct my game. I don't thik it's the great solution.

  • What did that sign say at the end of the video? "please leasook up ual irupural ils" sounds like a cry for help from the cartridge. Or it could mean please me up and eat cottage cheese.

  • If the game is running correctly, it says "Look up manual ..." well I forget what exactly it says but "Look Up Manual" is part of it

  • unexpected glitches scare me too.

  • hm,.. if I encountered such program-errors, I used to clean the cartridge ^^

  • For some reason, whenever I face a glitch out of nowhere on Nintendo, it gives me like a heart attack.

  • It's just one of those glitches you get with NESs. This happens to everyone.

  • what the fuck?

  • this is art, i can use these videos in an Installation

  • I was thinking the same thing.... Lovely... Trippy... Some of these images would make nice paintings...

  • Lol, (c) Everywhere.

  • Ah a Lockout chip malfunction,VERY COMMON IT IS IN THE NES LOL

  • Nintendo REALLY wants to get the point across with Copyright, even in glitches, I mean they all only put it into there about 100 times...

  • That's some serious glitch. I wish to shout "Jiggle the cartrage!!! Eject it a few times! NO! Now hit the reset like six times and tap the front of the machine lightly... There we go!"

  • this is a bad rom on a sad computer whith a even wors

    user... u glitcher Wanabe

  • hahahaha

sorry my friend this is the REAL DEAL

  • Wha...that was some scary shit. You just killed either your NES or the game itself.

  • whoa...that knida creeped me out....reminds me of when i first saw missingno and m' on pokemon blue version.

  • Missingno.'s NOTHING compared to THIS!!!!

This is the M's GREAT GRANDPAPPY, pal!!!>:3

  • You know blowing on your game did nothing! it was just a rumor, turning it off and back on or repositioning the game would work just as well, also breathing on it

  • what are you talking about it's fine! :p

  • It has half of the ABC's up there.

  • ahhh. the good old days. now you dont see that on any console todayXD. almost a shameXD

  • someone forgot to clean their NES game. just blow on it, it will work.

  • It's not a glitch, you obviously haven't made it to level 12...

  • whats on level 12?

  • I was being sarcastic, lol...

  • well How should I know?! lol

  • Ow...that's painfully amazing...
