Jessie wrote this song. Miley didn't even originally want it, and only took it because she needed more tracks for her album. This info is easy to find, just google it. Personally I like both artists. I don't see why it would be a big deal if anyone covered it though. Singers like other music than their own, so why shouldn't they cover songs sometimes? I don't get it.
