I think the main thing that's getting people flustered is the fact that there's not one, but THREE separate instances (possibly more) where Saleisha has seemingly violated the Top Model rules. You've got her appearance in the Wendy's commercial, then she appears as a model on Tyra's talk show, then she appears again in an episode of ABC's Ugly Betty. I think if she had won a challenge on ANTM and been given these parts as prizes it would've garnered a more understandable response.

I think I've been nice with my opinion there have been way more scathing remarks made about Saleshia. People saying they Hate her and she sucks and so on and I've never said that. I have to disagree. I think most of the winners (race aside) have been thought undeserving by many including Adrienne, Caridee, and Nicole. It's not always a race issue. I think it's just a problem with the show choosing drama over true modeling potential. Danielle and Joanie were the best F2 the show has had, IMO.

Yeah, but Saleisha had to sign a contract and surely knew she was in violation of the terms. I blame Tyra, too, but more because she cut better models (like Heather, Lisa, and Jenah) before the finale. It was a boring season all together. This "scandal" is the only interesting thing about it.

I think the main thing that's getting people flustered is the fact that there's not one, but THREE separate instances (possibly more) where Saleisha has seemingly violated the Top Model rules. You've got her appearance in the Wendy's commercial, then she appears as a model on Tyra's talk show, then she appears again in an episode of ABC's Ugly Betty. I think if she had won a challenge on ANTM and been given these parts as prizes it would've garnered a more understandable response.

I thought Saleisha was good model. Pretty, talented etc... I don't know if this was mentioned. The big deal is that in the contract its says no modeling experience including TV appearances. Saleisha appeared on this ad and in the Tyra Banks Show and in an episode of ANTM. It goes against what they put in there eligibilty.

I think I've been nice with my opinion there have been way more scathing remarks made about Saleshia. People saying they Hate her and she sucks and so on and I've never said that. I have no problem with her but I didn't like how she was to Heather. And I'm just stating my observation on the stiffness of her body in the Wendys ad. What I'd like to know was how long ago did she do this commercial? On ANTMs rules it said no commercial work in the past 5 years. So the real question was how recent is this work? I CARE that she had experience. This show is supposed to be for amateur fighting it out to become known. She's already had her foot in the business. And considering she has experience and still struggled during the photoshoots like the zombie tulip or hiphop gargoyle (so not high fashion), what does that tell you? She's a model, but not a top model. She won and still doesn't impress a whole lot of people out there.

Before everyone tries to be all "lawyer" & stuff by interpreting the show's rules, don't you think Tyra & her producers & no doubt her legal team would have looked into all this before making a final decision as to who would be ANTM? Obviously they did & technically Saleisha didn't break any of the rules. So accept that Saleisha is ANTM! She rocked!!!

All that matters is that she was in a nationally run campaign and therefore is illegible to compete. It doesn't matter how small or large the role was, she didn't meet the requirements so she shouldn't have been allowed to compete.

I have to disagree. I think most of the winners (race aside) have been thought undeserving by many including Adrienne, Caridee, and Nicole. It's not always a race issue. I think it's just a problem with the show choosing drama over true modeling potential. Danielle and Joanie were the best F2 the show has had, IMO.
