Only reason I'm here is because I heard this song a couple of hours back on Rage (show on abc that presents many genres of music all night long). Fell in love with it immediately.
The Seattle (and Aberdeen, WA, etc.) scene brought us so many great bands - in addition to the ones mentioned, there were Green River, Mother Love Bone, Melvins, Tad, and so on.
Screaming Trees had some awesome music, but just did the 4-year gap between Sweet Oblivion and Dust meant they missed the boat, whilst some of their WA counterparts were releasing albums. Lanegan's vocals are still amongst the best out there!
Its a good song alright, heard a lot of people saying nirvana and PJ were just two bands among many and they werent even the best in the grunge era, i went back and listend to the other bands, i can confirm stp, pj and nirvana and soundgarden had success because they were in fact better
