I don't understand the rhythm of the first notes (F, G, F, E, D, C, Gb, A).

Are they all quavers ?? Or is it triplet (F, G, F, E) an then quavers (D, C, Gb, A) ????

then the chord progression in 3/4 meter: Dmi, Dmi/C, Gmi6/Bb, A7, you'll have to listen and figure out the base notes in the intro

The first note of the bar is a quarter (A)

followed by a set of eighth-septoles (F, G, F, E, D, C, Gb) that lead into the one beat of the next bar which is an A again.

Play the A a little shorter and the septoles a little longer and you'll nail it.

Keep in mind that played music is always above written music. If it does not really fit in the grid of written music it is not because it is not played correctly. Sometimes it is due to the imperfectness of the written music's system.
