Or more precisely, the caller is the neighbor on Beevis and Butthead who inspired Hank Hill. I don't understand Rodneykingstrikesbck's post. Jerry Rubin is actually older than the Baby Boomers and the caller probably was WWII or Korean War generation. Baby Boomers would be the ones in the audience who are younger than 25. Jerry Rubin was born in 1938 when John McCain was pooping in his diapers.

I always found it fascinating how much Rubin changed from the early seventies radical to a me generation self promoting capitalist. I think he is one of the most interesting of the sixties figures. Too bad he died so young.

Jerry died in 1994 in a car accident. I always wondered how him and Hoffman would have reacted to the right wing swing we have taken in the last decade.
