@BlackOnyx i have very thick and dry natural hair as a result it consistently break, and i dont want to relax it, i been wearing weaves almost all the time, do you know any product that will make my hair softer and more moist?
@kentygal I have the same hair minus the breaking. try oils like grape seed, olive, and, tea tree oils. And I use kinky curly knot today leave in and mizani curl definer when I wanna do twist outs or braid out etc. hope that helps
I love it. How do you maintain the hair style from day to day? When i had a relaxer I just put on a satin cap or scarf at night with a similar style. Do I do the same and will it look the same or should I be prepared to wear that style one day and modify it until I wash?
.I dont have alot of money to just keep buying all of this products and they not work. My skin is very sensitive and when i use oil on my scalp it itchys like crazy. Please if you have any tips i would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance for taking the time to respond.
I've been with a relaxer since May,but starting in Janurary is the first time I've wore my natural hair and i am very discouraged. It is very thick, dry, and frizzy, and i live in North Dakota where it is extremely cold in the winter and i know that doesnt help my hair. I tried to us carol's daughter and it left my hair hard and the same with uncle funky's daughter products.
@tasstu I have a similar hair and skin type. What has worked for me is Sheamoisture black soap line and the hair oil spray. Products that are thick and heavy usually aggravate my skin condition especially in the winter. I have heard about an apple cider vinegar treatment but I have never personally tried it. Extra virgin olive oil is an optionas well as tea tree oil but most importantly keeping the scalp cleaned more often and moisturized. Hope that helps.
I apologize for putting this on your video comments, but i was not able to message you and i really wanted your input or help! I am greatful i was told about your page.I love your presents and how positive you are, so thank you for that and for sharing all you info.
I have been watching your videos for the past couple of years now and I am so happy for your success....Your shea yogurt is one of my staple products!!! congrats on everything!
You have truely been an inspriation for me, and it makes me so happy that you started out in NC, as I'm in fayetteville, NC. You make going natural so easy!!!! I love you videos!!!
I just love your hair, and this latest style of yours is another one for me to put on my list of styles to try when my hair is long enough! This afternoon I got a delivery of about 14 of your hair care products, and I spent the whole afternoon playing with them! Tomorrow I'm co-washing with "Co-Wash Cleanse Me" - can't wait!
@ahsenerb27 yes I retwist at night but I think I am going to just try and put a satin cap on and see how it works. My hair curls really well with these rollers.
Excellent video!! I am a year into my naturalness and I love it!!! My hair is not as long as your yet will this style still work? Also are your product in any stores in Virginia near Richmond?
I absolutely LOVE your Shea Yogurt!! It keeps my hair moisturized & smells so fruity:) Which reminds me, time to place another order! Happy Holidays & thank you for sharing this video.
i can't believe no one has thought of this yet! these tips are amazing! my hair is light and sticks up, even though my hair is bra strap when curly. my hair doesn't weight down :( but these tips are AMAZING! thank you!
Ive ordered from your company before and (singing)LOVvvvvE IT! dont suppose you have anything for chemical aloecpia? (hence my only reason for coming back to the natural side)
I was so excited when I went into the beauty supply store and saw your products. I have always wanted to try them. Congrats on your success all the way from Rocky Mount, NC!!
I do this exact technique except I use a different product to set. Yet my twist outs still don't come out the way I like. I get length but my hair looks stringy. I think it's just my hair texture. It comes out better for me with a braid out.
Great tips though. I sometimes wish my hair was a little kinkier!
Your hair is beautiful! I soo need to practice...my twist outs turn out to be huge wild and funky fros pretty much...It was cute at first, but I need something different...Thanks for sharing
yes i have a question can you get your products in BIM cuz i would really like to try them and i dont do plastic so i cant get them from your site lol thats my question.
i order ur products on 7/22/11 i didnt order much just the Bentonite Clay, Lemongrass Leave In Conditioner, Moisturizing Black Soap Shampoo, Shine Crave Hair Glosser, Honey and Sage Deep Conditioner, and Essential 17 Hair Growth Oil. I use all of these products faithfully along with one other product. I still have all of these they have lasted a very long time and i have noticed a big difference in my hair. I love these products and i can not wait until income tax time so that I can order more.
I am soooo Jealous of everyone that is using your products !!!! I wish I could afford to get your entire line, I'm tired of my hair looking like this !!! One day !!!! Yes Lord one day you're going to get an order from me wanting everything lol....... Keep going love because I'm going to want to get your products. =)
i didn't do the big chop but i cut off a few inches every month ive OFFICIALLY been natural for 3.5 years but now im locing my hair up want to do something different but i love ur videos and congratulations on the baby
