Me too I have a 5 string but I use a weird tuning. From top to bottom E3, A3,D2, G2, B2, just because it makes slapping on the E too easier.

@Smoothbassline i honostly like the 4 stringed better becuase the with the 5 th string the last string makes a little high pitched noise thats why i sticked to the 4 becuase its gives you the low

dude actually the 5th string is a low b above the e so it wont b hugher, a six string will hav a high c under the g tho

@y2jhbkdeadman why just stick with a 4 dtring bass when you can have a whole bigger advantage with more strings, better sound abilities, better a lot of things. I cant say much, i have a 4 string, but i am also just learning as well. and i plan on getting a 6 string next.

line 6 makes a beast of an amp i have the line 6 lowdown 400 combo 2x10, and its just awsome, a good 5 string to begin with is a soundgear sdgr its made by ibanez. or ltd d5 or b5. both are beastly. and you can never go wrong with a line 6 amp.

Hey bro nice cover but I have a quick question for you. I have owned this bass for about a month and a half now and m question to you is.... Have you ever had any problems where your bridge would lower which would cause it to lower? If so, how do you fix this? I have tightened the bridge with an allen wrench but the bridge continues to drop.

5 string ibanez. thats what i started on and i love it. once you learn on 5 strings though its kinda hard to go down to 4 because youre used to resting your finger on the b string

I would recommend it to be honest. The neck feels great, the pickups are pretty good to be stock, pretty light for 5 stringer is unbelievable and the mid sweeper thingy is just God-Like awesome!

I have is the SR535, and I would of got the SR305 mostly because of the mid sweeper. I seriously tell you in trying to playing all of them b4 making a choice.
